St James’ Palace condemned plans by the celebrity gossip magazine to print photos of Prince William’s pregnant wife on a private Caribbean holiday.
The alleged Kate Middleton photos are said to show the 31-year-old wearing a bikini and walking on a beach on the island of Mustique with her husband.

The former sitcom actor and current Franklin & Bash star tied the knot with Catriona McGinn yesterday, sources confirm to People, as the couple got married at the Sunstone winery in Santa Ynez, California.

Meghan Vogel Carries Injured Rival Across Finish Line in H.S. Track Event, Becomes National Story

High school junior Meghan Vogel was the big winner at an Ohio Division III girls state track meet on Saturday afternoon, even though she finished dead last.
With 20 meters to go in the 3,200-meter race, Vogel was about to pass Arden McMath, a sophomore from a rival school, when McMath collapsed on the track.
Rather than continue running, Vogel stopped, helped McMath to her feet, placed McMath’s arm around her shoulders and carried her across the finish line.
“Any girl on the track would have done the same for me,” Vogel told ESPN.

Bath Salts Bedlam: Designer Street Drug on the Rise, Targeted By New Legislation

A U.S. senator praised pending legislation proposing a nationwide ban on “bath salts,” a dangerous synthetic drug that officials believe led to the recent “zombie apocalypse” bloodbath in Miami where Rudy Eugene ate most of Ronald Poppo’s face.
“Dangerous drugs like bath salts are terrorizing communities and destroying lives,” Sen. Chris Coons (D) said Monday. “Stricter measures must be taken to stem the growing prevalence of bath salts and other new designer drugs.”

Prop 8: Appeal to Overturn California Gay Marriage Ruling Shot Down; Supreme Court Battle Ahead?

A federal appeals court ruled today that it will not review a three-judge panel’s decision to overturn California’s Proposition 8, which banned same-sex marriage.
Proposition 8 banned gay marriage in California, before it was ruled unconstitutional last year. Proponents plan to appeal the ruling to the U.S. Supreme Court.
That would put battle for same-sex marriage on a national stage.
