Lance Armstrong, who has strongly denied the doping charges that led to him being stripped of his seven Tour de France titles in 2012, is now considering an admission.
The New York Times cited anonymous sources and said Armstrong was considering a confession to restore his athletic career in triathlons and running events.
Armstrong, 41, was banned for life from cycling and cannot compete in athletic events sanctioned by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency and World Anti-Doping Agency.
Yet attorney Tim Herman denied that Armstrong reached out to USADA chief executive Travis Tygart andMore >
A California Republican who e-mailed a racist “family photo” of President Barack Obama superimposed as a chimpanzee is now facing widespread criticism.
State Assembly member Marilyn Davenport, who later apologized, says she received and forwarded the Obama email because she “thought it was funny.”
Not the word a lot of people are using to describe it.
Here’s the image the GOP official emailed out to dozens of friends and fellow Republicans, featuring Obama as a baby chimpanzee with its parents …
The moron who forwarded this has apologized in two statements.

Sarah Lane is at it again.
The professional dancer, who served as a body double for Natalie Portman in Black Swan and has said she was on camera for a major of dance scenes, spoke to 20/20 last night and said producers told her to remain quiet about her role.
“They were trying to create this image, this facade, really, that Natalie had done something extraordinary. Something that is pretty much impossible… to become a professional ballerina in a year and half,” said Lane. “Even with as hard as she worked, it takes so much more.”More >
Robert Pattinson is many things. Handsome. Talented. Friendly. Humble.
But there’s one description the Twilight Saga star tells the latest issue of ELLE he’s sick of hearing: “I never got the “brooding” thing. I’ve had about enough of that.”
In that case, how would the actor classify himself? Not in glowing terms, according to the interview. He says:
“When you’re confronted with yourself too much, you start to think, Jesus Christ, you’re so fucking boring. And the more you think you’re boring, the more you become boring. I talk about myself too much now.”More >
Following Chris Brown’s recent rampage in New York, there are fans that still take the side of this singer, typically using three defenses:
- Hasn’t everyone made a mistake?!?
- His incident with Rihanna is two years old.
- The media should stop bringing it up.
The first argument is ridiculous. Brown did not push Rihanna, nor did he strike her just once. Have you seen the photos following the attack? Brown pummeled his then-girlfriend. He gave her a fat lip and a black eye. You can stand atop your high horses all you’d like, but, no, not all “mistakes” are equal.

Chris Brown is in the clear, at least legally, after his absurd meltdown behind the scenes of Good Morning America Tuesday morning. No charges will be filed.
ABC has decided NOT to pursue a criminal case against Brown, and the NYPD will not investigate the matter if there is no complaining victim. So he’s good.
Brown, who’s on probation for beating up Rihanna (this is a fact, fans, not an attempt to tarnish his image), could’ve been in deep if charges were pressed.
Off the air, Chris Brown apparently went OFF.
Without a criminal complaint, a judge won’t rule that Chris – by all accounts aMore >
Today, lawyers for Dr. Conrad Murray will go to court to ask that authorities turn over all of the surveillance videos from Michael Jackson’s house.
Slight problem with that.
The surveillance video of MJ’s home the day he died has been erased. No one thought this would be a criminal case and it was simply taped over.
The LAPD only copied four minutes of footage – Jackson coming home from rehearsal at around 12:30 a.m. June 25. The rest is gone for good.
When the LAPD got the video just after MJ’s death, the case was not a homicide investigation. All they wanted to do was establish aMore >
Sensing a legal opening along with a chance to cause misdirection and play the victim, Lindsay Lohan is going to sue Kamofie & Company jewelry store.
Why? She claims they had no legal standing to sell the infamous surveillance tape and that Lohan never licensed the rights to use her image for profit.
Kamofie sold the rights to distribute the tape to the Associated Press for at least $40,000. Lindsay says it’s just proof they’re using her to cash in.
No word on when Lindsay plans to file suit. [Photo: Pacific Coast News]

Facebook CEO and world’s youngest billionaire Mark Zuckerberg sure has found a new way to soften his image, which took a pounding in The Social Network:
Get a new puppy!
“Beast” looks like anything but. The two-month-old ball of fluff adopted by Mark and longtime partner Priscilla Chan is sure to elicit more than a few awwwws …
Last week, a graphic photo of a battered Rihanna leaked.
That image showed, for the first time, the gruesome extent of the damage caused by then-boyfriend Chris Brown the night before the 2009 Grammy Awards.
Now, a new photo has surfaced that reportedly shows a lip injury Chris suffered the night he beat Rihanna up. The damage is minor, but it’s still there.
MediaTakeOut, which broke the story, says the pic was taken after the fight, during which he claimed Rihanna hit him first. Follow the jump to see:
Brown had told investigators Rihanna had hit him that night and scratched up hisMore >
Spencer Pratt is a known loser. Still, he wants to be part of Charlie Sheen’s WINNING! team so bad that he’ll be the actor’s new publicist for free.
After Sheen’s long-time PR man, Stan Rosenfield, quit this past, Spencer has come out of the woodwork, offering to help Sheen mend his image.
We wouldn’t hold our breath, Spencer. Then again, it’s Charlie Sheen. Bets are off. We know he’s a role model, but he’s an unpredictable one!
Spencer to Charlie: Let me use your scandal for attention help you!

Rihanna celebrated her 23rd birthday yesterday.
For such a young age, the Barbados native has amassed a huge number of hit songs. She’s also drastically altered her image in the last couple of years, shedding her innocent appeal in favor of a harder, edgier, hyper-sexual persona.
It’s as if the message is to say, in short, you can’t keep this girl down, Chris Brown, and you ain’t gettin’ any of this ever again. Punk. Whatever you think of the style chameleon personally, her musical success is undeniable.

(HMG Celebrity News) – Above is the gold-embossed invitation that Prince William and Kate Middleton sent out last week to 1,000 of their closest friends as well as 900 family members, government officials and dignitaries from around the world. The conservatively designed white card is stamped with grandmother-of-the-groom Queen Elizabeth’s golden insignia, requests a dress code of military uniform, morning coat or lounge suit. It’s not known yet who gets an invite to the exclusive 600-person after-dinner at Buckingham Palace though. Among the 1,900 invitees, Popeater says that whileMore >
(HMG Celebrity News) – New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez seems happy to date Hollywood starlets (and who can blame him?) but he doesn’t want to be seen with them? Kind of bizarre. After trading in the not so publicity shy Kate Hudson, and now dating the more discreet Cameron Diaz, A-Rod’s attempts to control his image and the way he’s perceived after a brutal divorce seem kind of feeble. He brings one of the biggest movie stars in Hollywood, to the biggest sporting event on the planet, and sits in the front row of a luxury suite and apparently didn’t expect the cameras might look in onMore >
Jenn Sterger and NFL fans everywhere have seen as much of Brett Favre as they can stomach, but the man has many fans and know how to spark debate.
That’s why one fellow Dancing With the Stars alum and NFL MVP would love to see him follow in his footsteps and shake his booty on the hit show this year.
Preferably without sexting pics of his junk during rehearsal.
“Let me think on what old retired NFL guy should join the show,” Kurt Warner told PopEater. “Brett Favre. That’s a good idea. Controversy is good for ratings.”
