Jacob Lusk has a tendency to be overly dramatic on American Idol. It’s what has made this season 10 finalist a polarizing singer.
It’s also what concerned Jimmy Iovine last night, as the producer was afraid Lusk’s style would negatively affect his cover of “Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word” and Jacob might “blow the whole thing.”
J. Lo thought the rendition was “beautiful,” while Steven Tyler said both halves of the song just “blew me away.” Do you agree? Or was there almost too much emotion in this performance? Watch and decide.

Maksim Chmerkovskiy on Being The Bachelor: Get Me Outta Here!

In addition to Dancing With the Stars, which unveils its all-new cast tonight, Maksim Chmerkovskiy starred as The Bachelor in his native Ukraine.
Boy is he regretting that decision now.
Give him terrible tendinitis, put him in front of Len Goodman on his most crotchety day, even partner him with Kate Gosselin. Just get him on the floor.
“[It was] the hardest thing that I’ve ever done,” Maksim says of being The Bachelor. “If I knew then what I know now, I would never have signed up.”

Ever since she got out of rehab and especially after her arrest for felony grand theft, the poor thing has been begging her mother to come see her.
Unfortunately for Lindsay, her mother is Dina Lohan, her chief exploiter, enabler and excuse-maker. Sorry, we mean “manager.” Great job, Dina.

Volkswagen Super Bowl Ad: Cutest Commercial Ever?

Volkswagen didn’t go for cheap laughs or celebrity stunts during last night’s Super Bowl.
Instead, the car maker aimed straight for heart in the following 30-second spot, featuring a child dressed up as Darth Vader, trying his hardest to produce The Force.
It didn’t work on his dog, however, or on the washing machine or on a stationary bike. But then the boy’s father arrived home, pulled his vehicle into the driveway and… see for yourself. The final reaction shot may be the most adorable scene in commercial history:

(HMG) – Jennifer Aniston has fired back at Fox conservative talking head Bill O’Reilly, who of course slammed her for her remarks that women are realizing they “don’t have to settle” to have a child.
