Amy’s Baking Company Blames Facebook Rant on Hackers, No One Buying It

The Facebook page of an Arizona bakery became a national story after the owners of Amy’s Baking Company were featured on Gordon Ramsay’s FOX show.

But the insane-seeming duo now says they had nothing to do with the EPIC rants that followed their Kitchen Nightmares appearance, which was ridiculed online.

Instead, they’re playing the “hacking” card.

The couple’s behavior on the show was beyond bad – it was even too much for Ramsay, who walked out before renovations in the May 10 episode.

Fans of TV who love Twitter but hate spoilers, meet Jennie Lamere.

The 17-year-old entered the TVnext Hack event in Boston and not only won her category, “Best Use of Sync-To-Broadcast,” but also won Best In Show.

Her creation? Twivo, a TV spoiler blocker made for Twitter.

An extension of Google Chrome, Twivo lets users type in key words they would like to block and for how long. Take the example of Game of Thrones spoilers.

If you missed the episode but have it on DVR and still want to be on Twitter, enter keyword “Game of Thrones” and you won’t see any tweets about it!

Edward Ray Fisher, OneRepublic Drummer, Arrested For Disturbing the Peace and Assault

Edward Ray Fisher, the drummer for OneRepublic, was booked for destruction of private property, disturbing the peace and assault earlier today.

Wonder if it’s too late to apologize … sorry.

Fisher is set to appear in Denver County Court tomorrow afternoon. Additional details surrounding his alleged destructive domestic rage are unclear.

Scarlett Johansson will soon star in The Avengers as Black Widow. Which is appropriate because, in many ways, the actress is still in mourning over her divorce from Ryan Reynolds.

Sesame Street YouTube Page Hacked, Replaced With Porn Clips

As if kids these days don’t have enough exposure to X-rated material, someone hijacked Sesame Street’s YouTube page and reprogrammed it with X-rated videos.

Christopher Chaney is not believed to be one of the perv hacker(s).

For a brief period Sunday, the show page for the popular kids’ series was overrun by porn hackers who made it display highly sexual videos instead. Yikes.

Christopher Chaney Speaks on Scarlett Johansson Hacking: I’m ADDICTED!!

Christopher Chaney, the hacker who illegally accessed the phones of Scarlett Johansson and other stars, says it was a blessing in disguise that he got arrested.

In fact, the 35-year-old perv says he’s almost relieved.

In a new interview, Chaney says he became “addicted” to the behind-the-scenes lives of the stars and when authorities seized his computer, he felt saved.

“It started as a curiosity,” he told a local news station in Jacksonville, Fla. “It happened and snowballed. … I just didn’t know how to stop doing it.”

Cash Cab Taxi Strikes, Kills Pedestrian in Vancouver

Sad news out of the world of automotive game shows today:

The taxi used for Canada’s version of Cash Cab struck a pedestrian in Vancouver over the weekend, leaving a 61-year old man dead.

The accident took place on Friday night, when a resident of British Columbia was crossing the street and tragically met his demise at the front of the replica taxi used by that game show. It was being driven by a producer after filming for the day had been completed.

Rebekah Brooks Arrested for News of the World Phone Hacking Scandal

Rebekah Brooks has gone from an employee of Rupert Murdoch, to the former editor of News of the World, to a woman under arrest all in one week.

The disgraced journalist resigned from News International on Friday, following the revelation that her newspaper tapped the phones of over 4,000 people, including celebrities and the families of 9/11 victims.

Now, British police confirm they have arrested Brooks for her role in this scandal.

As if there weren’t enough reasons to love Kate Middleton, she’s decided to ditch plans to hire a personal housekeeper and dresser, reports say.

All in the name of living royal – and married – life more simply.

She was planning to hire a joint housekeeper and dresser to serve her and Prince William in their home, but recently jettisoned those plans.

Her reasoning? She just doesn’t feel she needs one.

UK private investigator Jonathan Rees is being investigated after accusations of hacking celebrities at the behest of Rupert Murdoch’s News International.

According to The Guardian, Kate Middleton was one high-profile target.

Rees hacked the Duchess’ phone when she was still dating Prince William, reports say, while her bank accounts may have also been compromised.

Mark Zuckerberg Facebook Page Hacked By Nerds Seeking Social Justice

In a story seemingly ripped straight from The Onion, Mark Zuckerberg’s Facebook fan page seems to have been hacked this week by some ambitious nerds.

Socially conscious ones, too. The hacker(s) posted a message calling on the company to utilize its phenomenal success and transform into a “social business.”

The message, seemingly posted by founder Zuckerberg, was quickly removed, but not quickly enough to go by unnoticed, earning 1,800-plus “Likes.”

Justin Bieber uses his fans to revenge tweet an enemy

(HMG) – With fame comes power, but when you are 16-years-old will you use it wisely?  Canadian tween pop star Justin Bieber used his huge fan base to take revenge or at least punk another kid, sending out a Detroit metro area teenager’s phone number to his 4.5 million followers on Twitter. The tweet according to Gawker, which Bieber posted around midnight last night (local time), read, “everyone call me 248-XXX-XXXX or text.” The phone number was not Bieber’s but the mobile phone of Detroit-area teenager Kevin Kristopik.

Hackers Exploit YouTube Flaw, Send Justin Bieber Fans To Porn Sites

Using an exploit in the YouTube commenting system, hackers this weekend sent fans of Justin Bieber to porn sites.

The hackers specifically targeted Bieber’s YouTube pages, using a simple redirect to send users elsewhere.

The hackers also sent users to videos in which it was being reported that Bieber had died in a car accident.

With hundreds of thousands of Bieber video views a day, in most cases by underage girls, it was surely a traumatic experience for many of his fans.
