Shot by Chanel’s Karl Lagerfeld in the company’s Paris home base, a new series of ads for the brand’s Mademoiselle handbags features Gossip Girl star Blake Lively.
Blake, who Lagerfeld calls “kind of an American dream girl,” says she’s humbled and the opportunity to front the campaign was more than a “dream come true.”
She even felt she should be the one behind the camera. After the photo shoot, an in-awe Lively whipped out her phone and shot her own picture – of Lagerfeld.
