Selena Gomez has taken a break from luxurious dates with adorable superstars to talk about her professional future – and she wants it to include music.
Speaking to E! News at a press preview of Hotel Transylvania – one of three movies Selena filmed this year – the 19-year old said she misses recording and hopes to get started on a new record soon.
“I want to be able to write about things I’ve never talked about before and tell a story with this album because I’ve never actually had time to go in and do that. I’ve never worked on a song for more than two days,” Gomez said.

Selena Gomez has some fresh ink on her wrist.
The singer stopped by Under the Gun tattoo parlor in Hollywood last night and employee Jordan Sandoval Tweeted a shot of his work on Selena’s body: a tiny little heart just under her right forearm.
“She was excited…she wasn’t nervous. She is way cute,” Jordan Tweeted along with the photo, adding that Gomez “took it like a champ” and didn’t mention if the heart was in honor of someone in particular.

A week after her mother’s miscarriage went public, Gomez posted the following message on her Facebook page last night:

The singer has signed a deal with Adrenalina, an extreme sports and adventure-themed lifestyle brand, to come out with a perfume in early 2012. It ought to help all parties involved that Selena’s man shattered numerous sales records this year with his inaugural scent.

She isn’t pregnant. Nor has she come down with Bieber Fever.
Instead, sources say Selena Gomez was rushed to the hospital on Thursday night – and then returned there again yesterday – due to concerns over high blood pressure.
Doctors have not yet discovered the basis for Selena’s nausea and headache, which landed her under their care to begin with last week, following an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
She hopes to perform for fans on Monday at Santa Monica Place, which would kick off a 10-city tour for the artist. Let’s hope she makes it and is feeling fine!

When Justin Bieber Tweeted March 5 that “im not shaving for a month so you all can see my mustache, im pumped,” Selena Gomez wasn’t swooning at the idea.
On the Morning Mash Up on SiriusXM this morning, Gomez explained why she did not encourage her boo to go there: “You’ve gotta commit,” she told listeners.
“You can’t just be like, ‘All right, let me just do a little one.’”
Though Gomez explained that she’s not totally against facial hair, she does raise a good point. It’s Justin Bieber. What is a month really going to produce?
