Just weeks after undergoing a double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery, E! News host Giuliana Rancic visited the Today show Friday with husband Bill.
So how is the cancer survivor feeling now?
“I feel great,” Giuliana told Matt Lauer. “I feel great considering it’s been only two and a half weeks, but I still have a ways to go as far as recovery.”
The Giuliana & Bill star, who returned to work this week, has maintained a positive, but candid attitude about her breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.

E! News and Fashion Police staple Giuliana Rancic has undergone a double mastectomy and is already recovering, even cracking jokes, according to her husband Bill.
Her double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery took place last night as she battles breast cancer, and “G is doing really well,” Bill Rancic told E! News Wednesday.
“Her surgery lasted about four hours; the doctors were very pleased with the result.”
“She had a little bit of pain through the night but is feeling much better this morning and was cracking jokes,” said Rancic of his wife, who we’re all pulling for.

Just one month after undergoing a double lumpectomy, Giuliana Rancic is on the mend, optimistic and extolling the virtues of her early breast cancer detection.
“I’m hanging in there,” she tells Parade. “I have good days and bad days.”
Once a self-proclaimed “nervous wreck” about revealing her health news, the E! host says she’s grateful for the outpouring of support she has received.
“I know it sounds so cliché, but I think it helped me recover much quicker, and it got me in better spirits,” Rancic, 36, says of the fan feedback. “The word I kept seeing over and over again was ‘strong.’

Just one week after announcing that she has breast cancer, Giuliana Rancic is back in the house at E! News. She will anchor E! News tonight as per usual.
“I’m so thrilled to get back to work and return to my E! family today,” she said.
“I still have a long road ahead, but thanks to everyone’s overwhelming love, support and prayers, it will be an easier journey. The E! viewers have helped me to get through this and stay strong more than they will ever know.”
“I will be eternally grateful to them for their love,” she added.

Giuliana Rancic Recovering From Surgery

Giuliana Rancic’s road to recovery has begun.
The E! News personality announced Monday that she has breast cancer, and two days later had a double lumpectomy to remove it, hopefully for good.
Thankfully, husband Bill told the Today Show Thursday that Giuliana is “doing well” post-surgery. That said, “It was kind of a long day,” Bill explained.
“There’s many steps in the process if you go through this. Since it was on both breasts, the morning started with a two hour MRI where they had to put a guide wire in so the surgeon knew exactly what area to remove.”

“[Having a baby is] always on my mind,” Giuliana said, noting that she’s turning over a new leaf. “But we’re not actively trying. Right now is the year of fun.”
