Honey Boo Boo Girl Scout Cookies Facebook Campaign: Shut Down!
Like countless other young Americans, Honey Boo Boo has been selling Girl Scout cookies.
To her hundreds of thousands of fans online, and the chagrin of the Girl Scouts of the USA.
Honey Boo Boo posted the above ad on her Facebook page, which has 701,000 likes.
She also drew the organization’s ire by posting photos of stacks of boxes she sold.
HBB is not selling the cookies for herself, it’s worth nothing, but for a friend. Nevertheless, to say didn’t go down well with the organization is an understatement.

Honey Boo Boo Mother Defends, Explains Arrest Record
It’s a matter of public record: June Shannon, the… eccentric mother of six-year old Alana Thompson (aka “Honey Boo Boo”) was arrested in 2008 on a count related to a child support issue.
She also faced a theft charge around that time, but both cases were dismissed.
In March, meanwhile, child services looked into the Thompsons after Honey Boo Boo was featured on an episode of Toddlers and Tiaras chugging a mixture of Red Bull and Mountain Dew dubbed by Alana as “Go-Go Juice.”
Is that something the family gives its toddler often? No, June tells People: “It was a one time only thing. We

Mother of Empire State Building Gunman Speaks Out, Wonders Why
The mother of Jeffrey T. Johnson harbors no ill will toward the NYPD. She understands why her son – who shot an ex-colleague last week before being gunned down by multiple police officers – was killed on the streets of New York City.
But that doesn’t mean she understands what drove Johnson to commit such a heinous act outside the Empire State Building on August 24.
“I don’t blame police in New York for shooting my son because he killed somebody, but for me, he hasn’t changed,” Ms. Johnson tells The New York Times in a new interview. “He’s still the kindhearted, caring person who loved all

Don Perry, a top level executive in the public relations department of Chick-fil-A, died today of a heart attack.
Sad news for Perry’s family and friends no matter what the circumstance, but a noteworthy celebrity gossip story because that chain has come under major attack recently after its President came out against gay marriage.
A store opening in California yesterday was met with protest and controversy.
In recent weeks, Perry had spoke out on numerous occasions in defense of the company’s practices.
“Don was a member of our Chick-fil-A family for nearly 29 years,” said Chick-fil-A in

Already squaring off against ex-wife Tameka Foster in court, Usher appears to be facing a new problem with a new woman.
The artist has obtained a temporary restraining order against Darshelle Jones-Rakestraw, claiming she’s living in a dream world where Usher is her husband.
In court documents, Usher alleges that Darshelle appeared at his home in Georgia, pounding on the front door until police were called to the property. She then left the area, only to return the next day and tell cops that she was married to Usher and simply misplaced her keys. At this time, Darshelle was

“I’ve kind of been going crazy just looking at the four walls surrounding me,” Phillips said, adding that he loves to sleep, but he’s ready to be active once again.

Georgia Davis, a 19-year-old sadly but accurately dubbed Britain’s Fattest Teenager, had to be rushed from her home to the hospital last week.
Rushed in a relative sense.
When the 840-pound Davis collapsed with breathing problems and chest pains in the bedroom of her home in South Wales, authorities underwent an amazing eight-hour operation to evacuate her out of the house and to a hospital.
A 40-man rescue team demolished the top half of her mom’s house with sledgehammers and a circular saw to make a 10-foot by 10-foot hole.
They also tore down an internal

Phillip Phillips Loves Girlfriend, Embraces Talent
We’re sorry to say it, ladies, but: Phillip Phillips has a girlfriend. And he’s head over heels for the unnamed brunette.
“She is so excited for me,” the 21-year old told reporters in a conference call yesterday. “She supported me throughout all of this, and I love her to death.”
Phillip added that his gal pal has helped him immensely through his kidney ailment – it came out this week that Phillips underwent EIGHT surgeries during season 11 and is due for one in the near future – and if female voters out there have a problem with his heart being taken, well…
… too bad!
“If a girl [voted]
More >Tameka Foster to Usher: I Will F–k You Up!
Tameka Foster denies threatening to kill ex-husband Usher … but she did make several comments that she can understand being taken that way.
Usher and Tameka are in a legal fight over custody of their two young kids, a bitter showdown that played out in a Georgia courtroom this week.
Accused of making death threats toward her ex, Foster did admit under oath to saying “I will f**k you up” … which one can interpret as a threat.
Tameka was questioned by Usher’s attorney about her verbal and abusive threats towards the singer, whom she wed in 2007 and divorced in 2009.
She allegedly said “I

Fresh off another very strong performance, the future of one of our favorite American Idol contestants is in doubt.
TMZ confirms that Phillip Phillips – who covered Stevie Wonder’s “Superstition” to close out last night’s performance show – was rushed to the hospital this morning with abdominal pain.
Details remain scarce, but sources close to the singer say the condition may be gallstones and that Phillips suffered through a similar condition in January and also sought medical attention for it at that time.
Let’s all hope the scare isn’t anything serious and that Phillips, who Randy

Dear Adam Brock, do not ever refer to yourself again as “white chocolate.”
But do keep singing like you did in Hollywood last night. You have serious season 11 potential!
This 27-year old from Pennsylvania now resides in Houston, PA and works as the creative arts director at the Central Assembly of God Church there. He has a wife, a nine-month old daughter and a large black woman trapped inside his vocal chords. Wait… what?!?
Indeed, Brock has said that on multiple occasions and we guess we can see what he means, based on this rendition of “Georgia on My Mind.” We’d go with Joe Cocker more

With her performance in Hollywood last night, let’s hope Shannon Magrane finally gets recognized for her potential to actually win American Idol.
So far, the 16-year old has been the subject of inappropriate remarks from Steven Tyler, as well as lame puns from Fox producers (we were told last night that the contestant “hopes to a home run.” Get it? Because he father pitched in the World Series!).
But let’s not lose track of an important fact, folks: Shannon can sing! She proves as much below, belting out a version of “What a Wonderful World.”

Punxsutawney Phil, the groundhog, the myth, the legend, emerged from Gobbler’s Knob this morning and saw his shadow, thus decreeing six more weeks of winter.
Of course, given the unseasonably warm temperatures and a lack of snow this winter throughout most of the northern U.S., maybe that’s not the worst thing.
In any case, the central Pennsylvania celebrity made his annual weather forecast at daybreak Thursday before an overflow crowd of over 15,000 supporters.
Given reports of showers in the area, there were doubts going into this morning over whether there would be a shadow sighting,
