Osama Bin Laden Death: Fresh Details Emerge
Close to 19 months after the Osama Bin Laden death photo that rocked the world, new details have emerged regarding this terrorist’s burial at sea.
Under the Freedom of Information Act, The Associated Press obtained numerous emails yesterday that – though heavily blacked out – indicated no sailors watched the water-based ceremony from the USS Carl Vinson and Islamic procedures were followed throughout.
Bin Laden, of course, was gunned down on May 1, 2011, by a Navy SEAL team at his compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan.
According to one message from the aforementioned ship’s public

Honey Boo Boo Mother Defends, Explains Arrest Record
It’s a matter of public record: June Shannon, the… eccentric mother of six-year old Alana Thompson (aka “Honey Boo Boo”) was arrested in 2008 on a count related to a child support issue.
She also faced a theft charge around that time, but both cases were dismissed.
In March, meanwhile, child services looked into the Thompsons after Honey Boo Boo was featured on an episode of Toddlers and Tiaras chugging a mixture of Red Bull and Mountain Dew dubbed by Alana as “Go-Go Juice.”
Is that something the family gives its toddler often? No, June tells People: “It was a one time only thing. We

Miley Cyrus on New Haircut: All About Self Love!
Miley Cyrus continues to stand up for her new haircut.
Despite a rash of criticism over the very short blonde locks, the singer is proud of her brand new look. She directly addressed the critics in a couple Twitter posts yesterday, and now she’s published a new self-portrait along with a few inspiring words.
“Self love is the greatest of all flatterers,” Cyrus wrote beneath this headshot, which includes an up-close look at her nose ring and dark red lips.
She later added: “Energy flows where our intention goes . . . Create your day.” And then she published yet another photo of herself,

Glenn Beck Slams Glee as "Horrifying," Plots Alternative
Glenn Beck gave a speech on Friday at the Faith & Freedom Coalition conference and made two very simple points: Glee is destroying America; and he knows how to fix it.
The former Fox News anchor told attendees that he and his wife watched a recent episode of the Fox hit and could not believe it dared to address topics such as homosexuality and bullying.
“It’s horrifying some of the things that they’re teaching high schoolers,” Beck said of Glee. “But it’s brilliantly done. It’s produced, brilliantly. Its music, brilliant. Its acting, brilliant. Its cinematography, brilliant. All of

Ted Nugent: Off the Legal Hook for Bashing Obama
Ted Nugent will not face any criminal charges for his rant earlier this week against Barack Obama.
Threatening the President is against the law, of course, and the musician was forced to meet with the Secret Service after relaying a metaphor to attendees at a NRA convention that concluded with:
“If the coyote’s in your living room, pissing on your couch, it’s not the coyote’s fault. It’s your fault for not shooting him.”
Ted Nugent Speaks to Glenn Beck
“The Secret Service interview of Ted Nugent has been completed,” spokesman Brian Leary told Yahoo News. “The issue has been resolved.

Source: Kris Humphries Dragging Out Divorce, Hoping for Giant Payday
Only Kris Humphries – and PETA – can paint Kim Kardashian in a positive light…
According to an E! News insider, a divorce settlement is yet to be signed between this briefly-married pair because the bruising NBA power forward is hoping to holdout for a payday beyond the offer on the table.
“Kris is dragging it out,” claims this Kardashian source. “Kim is ready to move on, but Kris is hoping that stretching it out will get him even more money.”
As has been previously reported, this mole says Humphries wants to bank $7 million from the split… or $1 million less than his one-year contract

Lindsay Lohan isn’t taking any more chances with her freedom.
After another bout with trouble last week, during which LiLo was accused of a hit-and-run on some schmoe, she is following the advice of her closest friends and keeping things VERY low key until her probation is up in two weeks.
TMZ reports that Lohan is basically on lockdown until the 29th.
She claims she did nothing wrong, and at least one eyewitness agreed, the train wreck once again found herself in the news for all the wrong reasons.
A club-goer claimed LiLo hit him with her car in Hollywood early Thursday, then drove off,

Elisabeth Moss Slams Ex-Husband, Sexes Up Page Six Magazine
Elisabeth Moss is not known for being outspoken or particularly sexy.
But the Mad Men star sets out to change both those perceptions in the latest issue of Page Six Magazine. First, the sexiness:
Asked about her divorce from Saturday Night Live player Fred Armisten, meanwhile, Moss at first told the publication “it’s so hard to talk about,” but then added:
“One of the greatest things I heard someone say about [Fred] is, ‘He’s so great at doing impersonations. But the greatest impersonation he does is that of a normal person.’ To me, that sums it up.”
Laughing about how she’ll likely

Casey Anthony Offered $1 Million For Interview
It looks like Casey Anthony has a million dollar decision to make.
A Florida law firm representing a group of Hollywood producers is looking to revisit talks for her first interview following her split with attorney Jose Baez.
In a letter dated Tuesday, the firm of Cohen & Kuvin tells Anthony’s new attorney, J. Cheney Mason, that all sides had previously agreed to a mega-deal.
Until Baez pulled out, that is … and parted ways with Casey for unknown reasons. In any case, sans Baez, they’re still interested in getting a deal done.

Kelly Clarkson Endorses Ron Paul, Twitter War Erupts
Original American Idol Kelly Clarkson made a surprise endorsement in the 2012 Republican presidential race last night, throwing her support behind Ron Paul.
This did not go over well with some fans.
“I love Ron Paul. I liked him a lot during the last republican nomination and no one gave him a chance,” she wrote of the candidate. “If he wins the nomination for the Republican party in 2012 he’s got my vote. Too bad he probably won’t.”
Many of Clarkson’s 925,000 followers took issue with her support for the Texan, citing the alleged racism and homophobia of Paul’s old newsletters.
“That’s

Republican Debate Smackdown: Ron Paul vs. Michele Bachmann
Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney lead the polls, and Rick Perry may generate the best sound bites (“best” as in most entertaining, if not intelligent), but Ron Paul proved at last night’s Republican debate that he’s still a force to be reckoned with.
Never one to bend to party orthodoxy, Paul took issue with rival Michele Bachmann’s stance toward Iran and its nuclear program, advocating anti-engagement policies that make the Texas Congressman an anathema to many in the GOP, yet wildly popular with others.

Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito: It’s Over!
Despite having their murder convictions overturned and their freedom restored, Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito say their relationship can never be repaired.
“It’s all over between us,” an emotional Sollecito said during an interview, according to the Daily Mail. “I still have a great affection towards her but nothing else.”
According to Raffaele Sollecito, their romance in Perugia, Italy, abruptly ended when they were convicted of murdering her roommate, Meredith Kercher, in 2007.
That will typically do it.
The pair subsequently spent four years in prison before the guilty verdicts

Jennifer Lawrence on The Hunger Games: Not Like Twilight!
The comparisons were inevitable, but Jennifer Lawrence would like to stop them before they grow too loud.
“The Hunger Games is not Twilight,” the actress, who plays the main role of Katniss Everdeen in this March 23 release, says in the latest issue of Vanity Fair. “It’s really premature to say that it will be the same phenomenon.”
Lawrence stars in the movie alongside an impressive young cast, pictured above on set in North Carolina, that includes Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson. They round out the teen participants forced to compete to the death in the government-mandated Hunger

Will Amanda Knox Get a Book Deal?
Amanda Knox was cleared of murder charges in Italy on Monday after jurors threw out a 2009 conviction that sent the American student to prison for a quarter-century.
Almost immediately following her exoneration in the slaying of Meredith Kercher, media watchers began pondering when/if a book deal for Knox is on the way.
She certainly has a compelling story to tell … but would you buy it?
This summer, another young woman who attracted massive media attention was found innocent of murder, and quickly drew offers exceeding $750,000 for such a book.
