Amy’s Baking Company Blames Facebook Rant on Hackers, No One Buying It

The Facebook page of an Arizona bakery became a national story after the owners of Amy’s Baking Company were featured on Gordon Ramsay’s FOX show.

But the insane-seeming duo now says they had nothing to do with the EPIC rants that followed their Kitchen Nightmares appearance, which was ridiculed online.

Instead, they’re playing the “hacking” card.

The couple’s behavior on the show was beyond bad – it was even too much for Ramsay, who walked out before renovations in the May 10 episode.

The Scottsdale, Ariz., establishment was accused of stealing tips from employees, selling

Food Porn Busts ID Thieves: Instagram Steak Pic Leads Cops to Massive Crime Ring

For Broward County, Fla., law enforcement officials, porn has never been so useful. But we’re not talking about porn of the Farrah Abraham variety.

If it weren’t for a shared photo of a juicy steak – known as “food porn” in social media parlance – a major identity theft ring would still be operational.

Nathaniel Troy Maye, 44, and Tiwanna Tenise Thomason, 39, were arrested after a photo he posted online led police to Morton’s steakhouse in Ft. Lauderdale.

Maye, from Harlem, and Thomason, from Miramar, Fla., were being tracked by investigators after an anonymous person recently

The Quarter Pounders will come in two of the same varieties as the Angus burgers, Bacon and Cheese and Deluxe, and Habanero Ranch as well.

The new Quarter Pounder line will use a bun that has eight grams of whole grains, while original Quarter Pounders will stay with

Katie Couric, Daughters Star in "Got Milk" Ad

Katie Couric has perfected the art of easy conversation on TV.

Easy, nutritious meals for her kids? That’s more challenging.

One ingredient that’s always the menu, however? Milk.

“When you’re adding milk to your breakfast you’re getting all sorts of added benefits,” says the talk-show host in a new ad with girls Ellie, 21, and Carrie, 17.

“You’re getting protein when you put it in your cereal,” observes Katie, a paid spokesperson for the National Milk Mustache “Got Milk?” campaign.

“You’re getting calcium when you add it to coffee or just drinking it straight up.”

Frozen Pizza Recall: 10.5 Million POUNDS Yanked By Farm Rich Products

A massive recall on frozen pizza and other snacks is underway.

Farm Rich-branded products including pizza, Mini Quesadillas, Mini Pizza Slices, Philly Cheese Steaks, and Mozzarella Bites, are being pulled from shelves.

Over 10.5 million pounds of frozen foods have been recalled.

Reps from the company believe that the frozen pizza and other food may be contaminated with E. coli O121, known as Escherichia coli O121 bacteria.

Rich Products voluntarily recalled all products produced at its Waycross, Ga. plant with

Britney Spears loves her some KFC. Finger-lickin’ good, y’all.

The 31-year-old mother of two was spotted leaving a Kentucky Fried Chicken in Thousand Oaks, Calif., with takeout (and bodyguard, but no David Lucado) in tow.

Awesomely, Britney stopped by KFC after a photo shoot … for fitness mag Shape. Hey, she still looks awesome, so whatever she’s doing is working for her!

See Exhibits A & B: Our girl is still a hottie.

Kevin Federline, on the other hand, may want to try some healthy recipes once in awhile. KFC can be a nice indulgence once in awhile, but gosh man.

Horse Meat: Now at Taco Bell!!

Yo quiero ground beef tainted with horse meat at Taco Bell!

Europe’s growing horse meat problem escalated Friday as Britain’s food regulator said that new testing had found the Bell’s beef supply tainted with it.

Taco Bell parent company Yum Brands said the horsemeat issue is limited to the UK market, and that it will step up testing of its beef going forward.

Europe’s horsemeat scandal erupted in January, when testing in Ireland revealed that some ground beef products sold there contained equine DNA.

Burger King horsemeat samples were also found in February.

Honey Boo Boo Girl Scout Cookies Facebook Campaign: Shut Down!

Like countless other young Americans, Honey Boo Boo has been selling Girl Scout cookies.

To her hundreds of thousands of fans online, and the chagrin of the Girl Scouts of the USA.

Honey Boo Boo posted the above ad on her Facebook page, which has 701,000 likes.

She also drew the organization’s ire by posting photos of stacks of boxes she sold.

HBB is not selling the cookies for herself, it’s worth nothing, but for a friend. Nevertheless, to say didn’t go down well with the organization is an understatement.

A rep for GSUSA in Georgia, where young Alana Thompson lives, tells

Special K Recall: Glass Fragments Found in Cereal

This is not the sort of prize anyone is hoping to find in his or her cereal box.

Kellogg’s announced on its website late last week that it had recalled numerous boxes of Special K Red Berries because they were contaminated with glass fragments.

The company encourages consumers to check “any packages you may have in your home” and if they match the information below, “do not eat the food.”

You may contact Kellogg’s in order to be issued a replacement coupon.

There have been no reports yet of any injuries associated with the product, but check your items at home now to see if

The Real Housewives of Atlanta Recap – A Fool Is a Fool

The Real Housewives of Atlanta “Praise the Pageant.” If only they would have taken the time for a dress rehearsal. We recap all the bloopers in our THG +/- review.

Cynthia throws her Miss Renaissance Pageant with lots of pushing and little polish. Minus 20. Perhaps a dress rehearsal or two would have helped.

Where to begin?

How about with actor and celebrity host Boris Kodjoe. No doubt he’s a handsome man in anything he wears but  Cynthia obviously needed to specify he should wear a suit, especially when all of the ladies on stage were wearing gowns.  Minus 15.  Who shows up

Burger King Admits to Horse Meat; UK Beef Supply May Be Tainted

In a surprising and unsettling statement, Burger King admits to horse meat possibly tainting burgers sold in both the U.K. and Ireland recently.

It’s just the latest chapter in an ongoing scandal in the two nations involving beef burger patties allegedly containing meat from horses and pigs.

It’s suspected that a meat distributor in Poland, which works with Burger King and other supermarket chains, used meats other than beef as filler in cheap burgers.

Burger King had originally stressed, in the face of the scandal, that its patties are made with 100 percent beef, a claim that

Subway Foot-Long Subs: Actually Only 11 Inches!

Subway customers are up in arms and busting out measuring tapes amid reports that the chain’s famous foot-long subs fall a half an inch or even a full inch short.

The controversy began on Tuesday in Perth, Australia, when a discerning customer named Matt Corby ordered one and pulled out a tape measure:

Corby found the sub measured only 11 inches long and took his outrage to Facebook, where he posted a photo of it with the caption “subway pls respond.”

The photo, predictably, sparked an abundance of similar photos on Facebook of subs being measured and countless comments on

Jamie McDonald Eats ENTIRE Denny’s Hobbit-Themed Menu in One Sitting

Eating Denny’s entire 11-piece “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” menu in a single sitting sounds certifiably insane … unless you’re Jamie “The Bear” McDonald did.

Okay, it still sounds insane, but he did it anyway.

Denny’s Hobbit Menu Challenge

In 20 minutes, Jamie McDonald inhaled about 156 ounces (9.75 lbs) of food and drink and 8,610 calories, not including ketchup. Totally worth it, undoubtedly.

The Ring Burger alone is a stunning 1,420 calories … of course all Hobbit fans know the Ring has a way of corrupting those who seek it, so that makes sense.

THG NOTE: Don’t try
