A young woman named Monica Amestoy has filed a lawsuit against United Airlines in which she alleges that a male passenger was permitted to masturbate right in front of her on a flight last year.
The incident took place when the now-18-year old was flying back to Los Angeles from a high school debate in New York.
During a press conference last night, Amestoy explained that the guy was sitting across from her when he pulled out his unit and that flight attendants – alerted to the self-pleasuring situation – did nothing to stop it.

Two years after joining the Royal Air Force Search and Rescue Force, the Duke of Cambridge has officially qualified to be an operational captain.

An unidentified woman missed her American Airlines flight last week because staff found her choice of clothing offensive, according to news reports.
That’s because it bore a statement that first appeared at a pro-choice rally this year: “If I wanted the government in my womb, I’d f–k a senator.”
The woman, identified only as “O,” said of the incident, “When I boarded, I was one of the first groups to board (did not pass by many folks).”
“I was wearing my shawl loosely around my neck and upon sitting down, the lady next to me, who was already seated, praised me for wearing the shirt.”
And then there were three.
Another man has come forward with allegations that John Travolta sexually harassed him. Fabian Zanzi says Travolta came onto him on a cruise ship.
The Chilean-born Zanzi alleges Travolta accosted him while he was working on a Royal Caribbean ship in 2009. The actor was a guest on the boat.
Zanzi, a former employee of the cruise line, was in charge of VIP guests for the ship when the alleged incident involving John Travolta took place.
Zanzi gave South American news website ABC.es the following account:
“He had something on his neck. I thought it was fuzz. As IMore >
On a JetBlue flight from New York to Las Vegas yesterday, a group of passengers were forced to band together and subdue Clayton Osbon, a pilot who simply flipped out, behaving erratically, banging on the cockpit door and screaming out numbers.
On his radio show this morning, meanwhile, Carson Daly referenced the incident.
“Most of the people were on their way to some sort of security conference in Las Vegas,” he said. “It was like a bunch of dudes and well trained dudes… thank God.”
The Voice host then added, laughing: “With my luck, it would be like… ‘this is the flight going to [the gayMore >
Prescription drugs were present at the scene of Whitney Houston’s tragic death, and it’s possible the star drowned in the bathtub, according to reports.
No illegal drugs have been found in the hotel room where a member of the legendary singer’s entourage found Whitney Houston dead on Saturday.
When EMTs arrived, Whitney’s body was already removed from the bathtub.
It will take an autopsy to determine if she overdosed, drowned or died from some other cause. The medical examination is scheduled to take place imminently.

Whitney Houston’s financial situation is less than ideal, according to reports.
The term “broke as a joke” is used in said reports by Radar Online, in fact.
The Bodyguard star, who sought help for drug addiction last year, has allegedly lost most or all of her fortune, source closes to the singer have revealed.
“Whitney’s fortune is gone,” the source said. “Music industry heavy hitters are supporting her and her label is fronting her cash against her next album.”
“No one knows when that will be released, however. It’s gotten really bad. She might be homeless if not for people saving her.More >
If only Mark Wahlberg were on one of the planes hijacked on September 11, 2001.
We don’t mean that to suggest that we wish Mark were dead – that’s precisely the point! In an interview with Men’s Journal, the Contraband star claims that if he were on board that fateful day, the storyline would’ve been much different.
“If I was on that plane with my kids, it wouldn’t have went down like it did,” he says.
He’s not speaking metaphorically, he’s apparently serious. Mark adds:
“There would have been a lot of blood in that first-class cabin and then me saying, ‘OK, we’re going to land thisMore >
A Boston-area woman sparked a potential airline security threat this week when she tried to take a cupcake on a plane. The frosting? Too gel-like for TSA!
Rebecca Hains was able to pass through Logan Airport security with two cupcakes, but she was stopped on the way back from Las Vegas with one of them.
Hains said she had received the cupcakes as a gift and after eating one on the trip out west, decided to save the other for the flight back. NOT SO FAST!
No word on how the first one tasted, or what flavor frosting was on it.

As you’re probably aware, Alec Baldwin was kicked off an American Airlines flight last week when an attendant dared interrupt his intense game of Words With Friends.
How is the 30 Rock star handling this minor PR nightmare? By impersonating an AA pilot on SNL‘s Weekend Update and issuing a faux apology to himself, of course.
Sounding a little like John Edwards with a hilariously bogus Southern accent, “Captain Steve Rogers” went out of the way to apologize to the actor for removing him.
Not only that, he praised Baldwin as a bright, American hero.

Joshua Komisarjevsky has been sentenced to death following his conviction on 17 counts for the grisly murders of Jennifer Hawke-Petit and her daughters, Hayley, 17, and Michaela, 11, and the vicious beating of Dr. William Petit.
The family was infamously slain in Cheshire, Conn.
As the sole survivor in the home invasion, Dr. Petit had been anxiously awaiting the decision in a conference room at the New Haven court with other family members.
“It’s not easy,” he said before the verdict was announced.
“We have a lot of family here. We have a lot of support.”

Occasionally volatile actor Alec Baldwin has issued an apology for the crazy incident that saw him get kicked off an American Airlines flight on Tuesday.
Baldwin became irate after his game of Words With Friends was interrupted with the flight from JFK to LAX still at the gate, but the cabin doors closed.
When he was asked to turn off his phone, Baldwin retreated to the bathroom and allegedly slammed the door, leading the pilot to call for his removal.
Today, he’s feeling bad about all this. He writes:

Prince William is kind of the man.
Not only is he rich, famous, intelligent, married to a lovely young woman and the heir to the British throne, he’s an accomplished pilot in the UK’s armed forces – as evidenced during a daring rescue mission he took part in this morning.
William helped save the lives of Russian seamen whose cargo vessel sank into the Irish Sea off the coast of North Wales early today, according to various reports.
