Burger King Admits to Horse Meat; UK Beef Supply May Be Tainted

In a surprising and unsettling statement, Burger King admits to horse meat possibly tainting burgers sold in both the U.K. and Ireland recently.
It’s just the latest chapter in an ongoing scandal in the two nations involving beef burger patties allegedly containing meat from horses and pigs.
It’s suspected that a meat distributor in Poland, which works with Burger King and other supermarket chains, used meats other than beef as filler in cheap burgers.

The Toronto Blue Jays shortstop donned eye black for his team’s game against the Boston Red Sox on Saturday, scribbling Spanish words across the outside that translate roughly to “faggot.”

Final Hunger Games Book to Be Split Into Two Movies

The Hunger Games is going the way to The Twilight Saga and Harry Potter.
Lionsgate announced today that it would split Mockingjay, the final installment in Suzanne Collins’ penned trilogy into two movies, the better to maximize profits of course.
The studio even came out with the extended titles and release dates for the films:
- The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 will bow worldwide November 21, 2014.
- The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 will come out on November 20, 2015.
Catching Fire, meanwhile, hits theaters on November 22, 2013.

As scooped by E! News, the Twilight Saga beauty took off for Paris yesterday in order to pose for an upcoming spread in the famous magazine and it looks like she’ll be featured in one seriously glamorous, big-hatted pictorial when the issue eventually comes out, as you can see here:
Stewart won’t be seen next in Breaking Dawn. Snow White and the Huntsman comes out this June and fans are buzzing over its trailer. Can you blame them?

In the latest issue of VMAN, the dreamy actor doesn’t take any credit for the mammoth success of The Twilight Saga, instead telling the magazine:
“It’s definitely these characters we are playing. [Fans] are in love with Bella Swan, Edward Cullen, and Jacob Black. They feel like they know them. We are just lucky enough to be playing them.”
Stare all you’d like, ladies. He’s not going anywhere.
