Marie Carr has given walking down the aisle new meaning.
When the Cincinnati bride performed a rendition of Christina Aguilera‘s “The Right Man” as she entered her wedding and approached her husband-to-be, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. For good reason. Talk about making an entrance!

More >Floyd Mayweather Jr. Sentencing Delayed, Boxer Free to Fight
Ah, the life of a famous person. You can pretty much admit that you beat up the mother of your children… and then make a deal with a judge that allows you to fight for millions.
Such is the case for Floyd Mayweather Jr., who was sentenced to 90 days in prison last month on a domestic violence charge, but has now successfully postponed his jail time until June. This means he’ll be free to fight in Nevada on May 5.
“We are pleased that the judge granted postponement of Floyd’s surrender date so that he can fulfill his commitment to Las Vegas to deliver his promised mega-fight and the

Brock Lesnar went down hard against kickboxer Alistair Overeem in the first round at UFC 141 last night. A few minutes later, he announced his retirement.
The former heavyweight champion finished his own meteoric mixed martial arts career on a losing note at Friday’s Ultimate Fighting Championship event.
Lesnar retired from the UFC after Overeem stopped him with one vicious kick to the body at 2:26 of the first round in their much-touted heavyweight bout.
“Tonight is the last time you’ll see me in the octagon,” Lesnar said.
That leaves the UFC heading into 2012 without its biggest

Floyd Mayweather may have knocked out Victor Ortiz last night, but he was apparently still itching for a fight afterward … with sportscaster Larry Merchant.
During the post-fight interview, Floyd started absolutely screaming at HBO’s 80-year-old ringside reporter, yelling, “You never give me a fair shake.”
“HBO need to fire you,” the fighter continued, all up in Merchant’s grill. “You don’t know $h!t about boxing. You ain’t $h!t! You’re not $h!t!” Yikes. See below.
Larry Merchant didn’t back down, barely even flinching at the outburst and telling the champ: “I

Lindsay Lohan on Community Service: Let’s DO This!
Lindsay Lohan just showed up to the Downtown Women’s Center in L.A. to begin her community service, where she’ll be with the homeless, reports say.
Judge Stephanie Sautner ordered Lohan to complete 480 hours of community service for her probation violation, with 360 of those hours at the DWC.
Hopefully exposure to people with real problems gives her some perspective.
While there are reports that Lohan may serve her 120-day jail sentence under home confinement, there’s no getting out of the community service.
That’s fine by Lindsay, who’s determined to take responsibility for her actions

Amy Adams Lands Role of Lois Lane
Superman will be flying to the rescue of an Oscar nominee in 2012.
Director Zach Snyder has confirmed that Amy Adams will take on the iconic role of Lois Lane in his upcoming reboot of this franchise. The star of The Fighter joins a cast that includes Henry Cavill as the Man of Steel, Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent and Diane Lane as Martha Kent.
“Second only to Superman himself, the question of who will play Lois Lane is arguably what fans have been most curious about,” Snyder told The Hollywood Reporter. “So we are excited to announce the casting of Amy Adams, one of the most versatile
More >Academy Awards Fashion Face-Off: Justin Timberlake vs. Christian Bale
He took home Best Supporting Actor honors last night, but it’ll be hard for The Fighter star to win his latest battle against a venerable style champion.
Justin Timberlake, now a bona fide actor (The Social Network) in addition to a massive music star, was dressed in usual, traditional, handsome fashion.
Christian Bale? A little different. Even if you take away the scraggly beard, the black on black is a little unconventional. But you decide: Who dressed best?

Academy Awards Fashion Face-Off: Reese Witherspoon vs. Amy Adams
We previously profiled the styles of Anne Hathaway and Scarlett Johansson. Now it’s Reese Witherspoon vs. Amy Adams in another Oscar night Fashion Face-Off.

Reese, a former winner for Walk The Line, was as cute as they come. Amy, who was up for Best Supporting Actress for The Fighter (won by Melissa Leo in the same film), dazzled in blue and over $1 million in jewels. But who looked best?

Ricky Gervais kicked off the 2011 Golden Globe Awards by staying true to his vow to be more subversive than he was a year ago. Just ask Tom Cruise and John Travolta, at whom the comedian aimed this opening joke:
“Also not nominated was I Love You Philip Morris, Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor. Two heterosexual characters pretending to be gay. So the complete opposite of some famous Scientologists, then… Probably. My lawyers helped me with the wording of that joke. They’re not here.”
