Eazy-E and Ol’ Dirty Bastard are about to perform live for the first time since … well, they died. The rap legends will take the stage as holograms this fall!
Promoters for the annual “Rock the Bells” hip hop festival in September and October have announced a “virtual” Eazy and a “virtual” ODB will perform.
Better yet? Hologram Eazy-E will perform with living, breathing Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, while O.D.B. will appear alongside the Wu Tang Clan!
Family members have reportedly signed off for both holograms, and if they’re half as good as Tupac at Coachella, the fans will likely approveMore >
Lindsay Lohan can’t catch a break these days.
Last week, her new movie The Canyons was rejected by the Sundance Film Festival, and now South By Southwest (SXSW) has reportedly followed suit.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, “quality issues” was the hilarious reason cited, with one source labeling the Bret Easton Ellis film “a monstrosity.”
Good or bad, the recent New York Times feature entitled “Here Is What Happens When You Cast Lindsay Lohan in Your Movie” did little to help the film.
The paper describes the “chaos” surrounding the often-drunk Lindsay Lohan, from $46,000More >
Michael Lohan is adamant that daughter Lindsay Lohan is NOT a hooker, dammit … despite being quoted just hours earlier saying that she’s basically a high-priced escort.
As we reported earlier, a new Star/Radar expose claims Lohan is an actual, highly-paid escort. The celebrity gossip publication quotes MiLo saying she’s “getting paid to date rich men.”
According to the reports, these “dates” can last up to a week and the men shower her with lavish, six-figure gifts like jewelry and money – several of her alleged clients are even named.
But now, Michael insists he was misquoted.More >
The producers of Lindsay Lohan’s upcoming indie film The Canyons are flat out stunned that the movie has been rejected by The Sundance Film Festival.
Obviously, they believe the snub is largely Lindsay’s fault. The Canyons Clip
Sundance originally reached out to producers to screen the movie at the annual event, and The Canyons producers were led to believe it was a lock.
Not the case. Sundance passed, reason not given.
Producers believe – and not unreasonably – that the about-face may be due to their troubled star and the negative attention she brings to … well,More >
Jennifer Lawrence debuted a new, gothic look that made her nearly unrecognizable on the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival on Saturday.
J-Law wore a strapless black and red Christian Dior Haute Couture gown and black Dior shoes, a somewhat severe, gothic look that was nonetheless elegant.
A fine line, for sure, but it works. How does it stack up with some of her past red carpet looks, though? That’s for you toMore >
Kristen Stewart may have brought controversy to the Toronto Film Festival, but Selena Gomez brought nothing but smiles and looks of joy.
Because she brought a pair of little Biebers to the premiere of Hotel Transylvania!
The singer – who voices a character in that animated flick – walked the red carpet with Jazmyn 4, and Jaxon, 2, the younger siblings of boyfriend Justin Bieber. Just look at the shirt-and-tie ensemble on the latter and do your best not to melt:
Justin was nowhere to be seen, but, for once, no one in attendance actually cared. His brother, sister and totally adorableMore >
The Internet is run by cats. This is a scientific fact.
As such, it was really only a matter of time before all the cat videos online were honored in some officially-sanctioned capacity, and the first annual Cat Video Film Festival at Minneapolis’ Walker Art Center this week did just that.
More than 10,000 were on hand as Henri 2, Paw de Deux (below) was crowned the winner of the people’s choice award, a.k.a. The Golden Kitty!

Have we mentioned recently how much we adore Robert Pattinson?
The actor stopped by George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight yesterday and was his usual funny, humble, self-deprecating self, opening up about Cosmopolis; his (failed) attempt at the Cannes Film Festival to not sound like a “douchebag;” and his recent fight with Adele.
“I had this argument with Adele, which is probably the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever said,” Pattinson tells the host in the video below. “[I told her] you know, you can just really reach for it!! And she was like, ‘You do realize, I’m, like, theMore >
But a pill popper? Someone who turns to Valium and other sleeping medicine when the pressures of work and romance become too much? This is where the reality star draws the legal line.

Last year, Tara Reid married Zach Kehayov.
Actually she didn’t, but she pretended like she did to get attention from celebrity gossip tabloids, even though it wasn’t a legal wedding. Then they broke up.
Now the alleged actress has moved on to a new, older beau: 60-year-old jeweler Fawaz Gruosi, recently dubbed of the most sought-after watch and jewelry makers of his generation, according to The New York Times.
Get a prenup drafted up early, Fawaz.

Sean Penn isn’t a fan of us right now. Or you, or anyone else.
On Friday at the Cannes Film Festival, the actor-activist slammed the media and public for abandoning Haiti after the devastating earthquake in 2010.
“It’s not only celebrities who went for a day,” Penn told reporters of his perceived injustice. “It’s the whole f–king world. It’s all of you. The reason we have ‘Haiti fatigue’ is because there was never a commitment in the first place.”
A vocal proponent of humanitarian aid, Penn also called upon President Barack Obama to meet with Haiti’s newly elected president Michel JosephMore >

An attorney for the actress, 32, filed divorce papers on her behalf on Friday in L.A. County Superior Court. She and Sestito, a concert promoter, have no kids.

Susan Sarandon is an outspoken liberal who has once again generated controversy with a statement.
Bill Donohue, president of the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights, says Sarandon is “a despicable person” who “doesn’t know what she’s talking about” when it comes to the pope’s past.
During an interview over the weekend at the Hamptons Film Festival, the Oscar winner talked about sending a copy of the book “Dead Man Walking” to the pope and said: “The last one [Pope John Paul II], not this Nazi one we have now.”
Of course, it has come out that Pope Benedict actually was a memberMore >
