Prince Harry’s military tour of duty was no joke.
Upon returning from his five-month stint in Afghanistan, he was asked (yes) about his naked photo scandal, but also about killing Taliban insurgents.
Which he did.
The 28-year-old Apache helicopter pilot confirmed to the British media that he and his fellow soldiers killed Taliban fighters during his deployment.
“To take a life to save a life,” the World’s Top Bachelor said.
“That’s what it revolves around, I suppose. If there’s people who are trying to do bad stuff to our guys, then we’ll take them out of the game.”

“Its Official, I’m a daddy!!!” Gokey Tweeted yesterday, adding that he and wife Leyicet Peralta are now the parents of Daniel Emanuel Gokey.
“Leyicet and I are overjoyed to welcome the new member of our family,” Gokey told People. “I’m ecstatic to be a first time dad and to have a new little buddy to hang out with.”

Earl Weaver Dies; Hall of Fame Manager was 82

Earl Weaver, the legendary ex-manager of the Baltimore Orioles, passed away early this morning on a cruise in the Caribbean. He was 82 years old.
A Hall of Famer, Weaver won 1,480 games and was well-known for both his temper and his penchant for the three-run homer.
He collapsed with his wife, Maryanne, by his side and never regained consciousness, according to The New York Daily News.

Dear Abby Dies; Pauline Phillips (Abigail Van Buren) Was 94

Pauline Phillips, better known as Abigal Van Buren, the woman who founded the famous “Dear Abby” advice column, has died at the age of 94.
She had been battling Alzheimer’s disease.
Pauline’s daughter, Jeanne, who took over the “Dear Abby” column, confirmed yesterday, “I have lost my mother, my mentor and my best friend.”
“My mother leaves very big high heels to fill with a legacy of compassion, commitment and positive social change. I will honor her memory every day by continuing this legacy.”
Her “Dear Abby” column first appeared in print in 1956.

Rebbie Jackson, Michael’s older sister and perhaps the lowest-profile Jackson sibling, is in mourning following the death of her husband, Nathaniel Brown.
Rebbie and Nathaniel wed in 1968 (!) and have three kids, Stacee, 40, Yashi, 35, and Austin, 27.

Chandler Wiliams, an Arena League football player who spent the 2012 season with the Tampa Bay Storm, died yesterday in South Florida. He was 27 years old.
Details are scarce, but the cause of death is likely heart-related, as Williams passed away during a flag football tournament in South Florida.
He had been a seventh-round draft pick of the Minnesota Vikings in 2007.
