Faith Hill Super Bowl Commercial: Funny or Tasteless?
Overtly sexual ads shoved down our throats is not exactly rare (see last night’s Kim Kardashian Super Bowl commercial), but Faith Hill threw us for a bit of a loop.
With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, the country singer’s spot for Teleflora played out very sweetly … before throwing a crude one-liner in America’s lap.
The upside? Because it’s Faith Hill, the punchline was unexpected and well executed. The downside? It’s Faith Hill. The straight-laced star’s fans may disapprove.

Something you didn’t hear about at the Golden Globes was Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban welcoming a baby girl named Faith, just born via surrogate.
Born to a surrogate December 28 at Nashville’s Centennial Women’s Hospital, Faith Margaret Kidman Urban is Keith and Nicole’s biological daughter.
She joins the couple’s first daughter, 2-year-old Sunday Rose.

Report: Aretha Franklin Has Pancreatic Cancer
After a mystery illness prompted her to cancel all upcoming events and undergo surgery last week, Aretha Franklin offered very few details to the media.
Now reports say the Queen of Soul is suffering from pancreatic cancer.
A source familiar with the situation told The Detroit News about Franklin’s condition. Detroit’s Fox 2 news also attributing that information to a relative.
Aretha Franklin has not confirmed reports of her diagnosis.
The National Enquirer posted a story on the music legend’s reported illness earlier, prompting some of the speculation regarding the Queen of Soul.

New Sarah Palin Book Cover Released
The cover for Sarah Palin’s newest book, America by Heart: Reflections on Family, Faith and Flag, has just been released by publisher HarperCollins.
The book is due out November 23, after the midterm elections and about a year after the release of her bestseller, Going Rogue: An American Life.
Expect the new book – and extensive book tour – to amplify the speculation over whether the ex-Alaska Governor will run for president in 2012.
It certainly would be interesting if she challenged Barack Obama.
