A pair of THG favorites are about to hit the big screen together, as Paul Rudd and Elizabeth Banks anchor the cast of Our Idiot Brother, which comes out on Friday.
The title pretty much makes it clear, but the film centers around Rudd’s Ned, the runt of a beautiful litter that includes sisters played by Banks, Emily Mortimer and Zooey Deschanel. The former told Movie Fanatic that she can relate to the concept:
“I am the oldest, bossiest daughter of a family of four… I have a 26-year-old brother who sells pizza and maybe something else while delivering those pizzas.”

Confirmed: Elizabeth Banks Joins The Hunger Games
It’s official. Elizabeth Banks is joining the film adaptation of The Hunger Games along with the likes of Liam Hemsworth, Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson.
The 40-Year-Old Virgin actress, 37, broke the news on Twitter. Banks writes:
“I can now confirm I’m EFFIE TRINKET in The Hunger Games. So excited!”
The rumor of Elizabeth’s casting surfaced earlier in April, but was not confirmed until now. The film, based on the best-selling novel, is getting huge buzz.

In the latest casting news regarding the big screen adaption of The Hunger Games, Irish actress Paula Malcomson has landed the role of Katniss’ mother. The character is constantly worried about the future of her daughters.
Malcomson is a veteran of the small screen, most recently appearing on Private Practice, Fringe and Sons of Anarchy.
The actress joins a young cast that includes Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Willow Shield, Jack Quaid, Leven Rembin, Dayo Okeniyi, Amandla Stenberg and, of course, Jennifer Lawrence in the main role.

Using its official Facebook page to make the announcement, Lionsgate just unveiled the casting of two more tributes for its adaptation of The Hunger Games.
Jack Quaid and Leven Rembin have signed on as Marvel and Glimmer.
They’re the District 1 tributes. Days ago, the roles of District 11 tributes, Thresh and Rue, were filled by newcomers Davo Okenivi and Amandla Stenberg.
The tributes join the main players: Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss, Josh Hutcherson as Peeta, Liam Hemsworth as Gale and possibly Elizabeth Banks as Effie.
