U.S. soccer star Hope Solo insists husband Jerramy Stevens never laid a hand on her, despite the former NFL player’s arrest for domestic violence two weeks ago.
Hope Solo married him the next DAY, so that’s hopefully an encouraging sign.
There was wide speculation that Stevens attacked Solo during a house party at their residence, but she just released a statement, claiming that never happened:
“My beautiful husband & i happy as can be! [sic] Let me set the record straight!!! Jerramy has NEVER treated me poorly! The truth always prevails!”More >
Posters featuring Rihanna’s battered face have been plastered around Stockholm, Sweden, protesting Chris Brown’s concert in the city November 19.
The posters feature the Rihanna photos taken by police after Brown’s 2009 arrest for felony domestic violence. It’s not known who is responsible for the “advertisements.”
The objective, clearly, is to compel concert organizers to cancel Brown’s show because of his violent past; this is not the first such opposition he’s encountered.

Evelyn Lozada will not seek to extend the restraining order barring Chad Johnson from contacting her, according to reports. She just wants to move on.
The ex-NFL star is set to complete his domestic violence intervention program in the next few months, at which point he will ask that the no contact order be dismissed.
If and when that happens, Evelyn would have to request a civil restraining order to keep Chad away, but has decided not to do that, despite his head-butting her.
She does NOT want a reconciliation, however. What’s done is done, that’s all.

Lindsay Lohan is laughing off the idea of her father Michael Lohan placing her under conservatorship, saying convicted criminals shouldn’t be pointing fingers.
She would know, right?!?
LiLo is telling close friends that “no judge would buy” what he’s trying to sell regarding her being hooked on drugs and alcohol and unable to manage her own affairs.
According to a close source, she said:
“They would have a hard time believing the claims of someone who was investigated for insider trading, arrested for domestic violence multiple times, arrested for assault, has a drunk drivingMore >
Evelyn Lozada has filed to divorce Chad Johnson, not even six weeks after they got married. She filed legal documents just moments ago in Florida.
Caiming her marriage is “irretrievably broken,” Evelyn was clearly motivated by the fight this weekend that led to her man’s domestic violence arrest.
Even before the fight went nuclear – he’s accused of head-butting her (listen to the Chad Johnson 911 call here) – the union was on shaky ground.
Lozada allegedly found a receipt for condoms in the duo’s car and flew off the handle, resulting in an altercation that landed the football playerMore >
Lena Dunham, creator and star of HBO’s Girls, posted a picture and caption on Twitter recently that some of her followers were offended by.
Wearing a scarf resembling a Muslim hijab (below), Dunham wrote “I had a real goth / fundamentalist attitude when I woke up from my nap.”
Lena certainly didn’t mean to insult anyone by it, but in the wake of the Wisconsin Sikh temple shooting, many were not amused:
After people went crazy, Lena Dunham apologized, saying she hadn’t even heard about the shooting: “Been in production and completely not reading the news.”

Here’s a new Chuck Norris fact for you: the actor is very unhappy with Barack Obama right now.
In light of James Turley – a Boy Scouts of America official and CEO of the accounting firm Ernst & Young – recently stating that he planned on working to change the longtime rule that bans homosexuals from serving as Scout leaders, Norris has penned a column for Ammo Land that places the blame for this maneuver on the President’s shoulders.

Lane Garrison has just been legally ordered to stay away from his ex-girlfriend, Ashley Mattingly, which should not be a huge issue as he’s in jail.
The actor allegedly slapped Ashley in the face last month during a argument at her apartment building, leading to his arrest for battery last month.
He’s will plead not guilty to misdemeanor domestic violence at his court hearing, which was pushed back due to questions regarding his parole status.

Lady Gaga is under fire in Korea – and not even from the Northern half.
Christian groups in South Korea called on Friday for the pop star to cancel her concert there, saying it’s “pornographic” and pro-homosexuality.
South Korea’s government has already bowed to public pressure and banned people under 18 from attending, but certain protesters said that was not enough.
“Even adults can’t see her performance which is too homosexual and pornographic,” said Rev. Yoon Jung-hoon, organizer of “Civilians Network against the Lady Gaga Concert.”

Lane Garrison’s lawyer said today that his client will not be charged with felony domestic violence for allegedly attacking his ex-girlfriend, Ashley Mattingly.
Harland Braun says he spoke with the D.A. Tuesday and was told prosecutors don’t have sufficient evidence right now to file a case against Garrison.
That could change, however, as the investigation continues. Lane’s case remains under review and charges stemming from his arrest still could be filed.
There’s also the matter of Garrison’s 2007 DUI-manslaughter conviction.

Just a few weeks after George Clooney got arrested during a protest in Washington D.C., Noah Wyle has gone out and done the same, as the Falling Skies star was one of many marching on Capitol Hill today, urging congress not to cut Medicaid in any way.
Wyle joined member of the group ADAPT in an attempt to tell politicians any cuts in Medicaid spending would push those with disabilities, along with the elderly, out of their houses and into nursing homes to receive the services they require.

This is worse than that Chris Brown superhero cartoon.
A Watkinsville, Ga., steakhouse is feeling serious heat after promoting its “black and bleu” ribeye sandwich as being inspired by Chris Brown’s beatdown of Rihanna.
We kid not, they really promoted the thing that way.
Chops & Hops put up a notice last week on the eatery’s Facebook and Twitter pages announcing the newly-created sandwich, available for one day only.
