Engaged to Mellody Hobson, he is.
Legendary director George Lucas announced today that he’s engaged to his long-time girlfriend, who is the president of a Chicago-based investment firm and someone who has accompanied Lucas on red carpets around the world for years.
Hobson often appears on Good Morning America as a financial analyst.
This will mark the second marriage for the Star Wars creator and after selling Lucasfilm to Disney for a cool $4 billion, let’s just hope he got Hobson one heck of a ring.
Or at least prime seats to the Star Wars Episode 7 premiere.

We’re guessing this is not the merry holiday season Suzy Favor Hamilton had hoped for.
A day after it came to light that the three-time Olympian had been living the secret life of an escort in Las Vegas, Hamilton lost her affiliation with Disney.
The middle-distance runner will no longer speak – as she did last August and as she had been scheduled to do in the near future – at the Disneyland Half Marathon.
A Disney rep tells E! News that Hamilton “was only an invited guest and she was never paid or acting as a spokesperson for Disney.”

Ariel Winter to Live With Sister, Father to Oversee Affairs

The family feud over Ariel Winter has reached a detente, at least temporarily.
“It looks like the court is going to order therapy and counseling to help keep us together as a family,” Ariel’s older brother Jimmy Workman told reporters.
“Everything’s holding off and everyone’s going to counseling.”
Lawyers for Ariel’s mother, Chris Workman, her older daughter Shanelle, 34, as well as the star, hammered out an agreement this afternoon.
That deal will allow Ariel to remain in the care of her sister.

Danielle Fishel Confirms Girl Meets World Spinoff, Thanks Fans in Letter

The Internet has exploded with joy at the news that Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel signed on to reprise their Boy Meets World roles in a new Disney Channel spinoff.
Fishel says it’s all because of those fans that Girl Meets World is being made.
The actress, 31, and Savage, 32, will play the married Cory and Topanga Matthews, and the spinoff will be told from the perspective of their teenage daughter, Riley.

Vivienne Jolie-Pitt to Make Film Debut in Maleficent

Angelina Jolie’s adorable daughter Vivienne will soon make her film debut alongside her famous mother in Maleficent, according to reports.
The four-year-old will have a small role in the project, a re-telling of the tale of Sleeping Beauty from the point of view of her horned, evil nemesis.
Vivienne will play a younger version of Princess Aurora, played by Elle Fanning. Walt Disney studios confirmed the casting of Viv this week.

An attempt at a kind gesture turned very scary for Demi Lovato in Paraguay last night, as the singer was forced to leave the stage and put a halt to her concert when fans leaped up and tried to embrace her.
The 19-year old initially tried to give fans a better seat, only for attendees to get carried away and actually jump on stage. Security intervened. Demi walked away. Order was restored and she eventually returned to finish the set.

Now, in the pages of British magazine Fabulous, the singer is baring her soul.
