Adolf Hitler was maniacal about more than just world domination during his evil reign over Germany in the 1930s and 40s.
In a new interview with The Telegraph, Margot Woelk explains that she was seized by the SS many decades ago and forced to become the dictator’s food taster for two-and-a-half years, checking meals everyday to be sure they were not laced with poison.
“Only after all of us had tried it was it driven to the headquarters by the SS,” Woelk tells the newspaper. “It was all vegetarian, the most delicious fresh things, from asparagus to peppers and peas, served with riceMore >

The Avengers still earned $37 million, of course, and blew past the $500 million barrier on Saturday, its 23rd day of release. It now holds the record for fastest film ever to reach that mark. It’s earned $513.7 million overall.

Police are looking to speak with rapper Rick Ross after a man was shot to death in front of his Miami Gardens home this morning, according to TMZ.
Ross was not present at the time of the shooting.
At this point in the investigation, he’s not considered a suspect. Police found the victim, a 40-year-old man, laying inside a gate at the home.
Investigators don’t know if the victim has any connection to Ross, but since he is listed as the property owner, cops obviously want to ask him a few questions.
So far, no comment from Rick’s camp about the situation.

Visually, Angelina Jolie and Penelope Cruz are just about peerless.
While husband Brad Pitt was the one in the spotlight, Jolie rocked the Oscars red carpet as always in a fearlessly thigh-high cut Versace velvet dress that turned heads.
Cruz, meanwhile, opted for periwinkle in Armani Prive, adding a classic Grace Kelly-like polish to her ensemble with diamond jewels and shiny 1950s-inspired curls.

Jennifer Lopez and Cameron Diaz presented a couple Academy Awards last night, laughing and joking and seeming like good friends.
But the time for funny banter is over. These two beauties are enemies for the next few moments.
We’ve pitted the actresses against each other in a Fashion Face-Off, with Diaz the clear underdog, considering you can pretty much see J. Lo’s nipples in her custom Zuhair Murad gown. Then again, that might be a turn off for some. Compare, contrast and decide for yourself now. Who wore her dress better?
In a hilarious minute-long rant, Sacha Baron Cohen went on The Today Show this morning and slammed the Academy Awards for shutting him out… in character.
Cohen, or should we say Admiral General Aladeen, appeared live on NBC’s morning show to express outrage over being banned from the Oscars Sunday night.
The despot’s message, in summation: Death to America, death to the west, and good luck Billy Crystal. Here’s The Dictator himself, General Aladeen, lashing out:

Brace yourselves: The trailer for Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter has arrived!
Yes, this is a real movie. The subject matter of which is explained by the title.
The absurd movie mash-up of historical drama and vampire horror stars Benjamin Walker as our nation’s greatest president, haunted by the death of his mother at a young age, a horrific tragedy blamed on the blood suckers … fictionally of course. We think.
He devotes his life, and ends up President of the United States, as part of an all-out quest to eradicate vampires from the world. The Vampire Diaries should really consider an AbeMore >
The Amazing Spider-Man will swing into theaters on July 3, and while many movie goers may be wondering why such a recent franchise is already getting a reboot – with Andrew Garfield taking over the main webbed role – a new trailer for the blockbuster attempts to answer that question.

It’s official, isn’t it, America? The day of the funny, original Super Bowl commercial is over.
While tonight’s Giants versus Patriots game featured serious fourth quarter drama, the breaks in between the action produced… more lame naked girl teases from GoDaddy? More Polar Bears from Coca Cola? More of that E TRADE baby?

For all the criticism leveled at the first season of The X Factor – which resulted in the dismissal of Nicole Scherzinger, Paula Abdul and Steve Jones last week – no one took issue with the show’s champion.
Melanie Amaro can seriously sing.
And Super Bowl viewers will find out for themselves on Sunday, as the 19-year old teams with Elton John for a 60-second Pepsi commercial. Said the latter: “Pepsi wanted to make me ‘King for a Day’ on Super Bowl Sunday. How could I possibly pass that up?”
