Hitler Food Taster Talks Führer’s Vegetarian Diet

Adolf Hitler was maniacal about more than just world domination during his evil reign over Germany in the 1930s and 40s.

In a new interview with The Telegraph, Margot Woelk explains that she was seized by the SS many decades ago and forced to become the dictator’s food taster for two-and-a-half years, checking meals everyday to be sure they were not laced with poison.

“Only after all of us had tried it was it driven to the headquarters by the SS,” Woelk tells the newspaper. “It was all vegetarian, the most delicious fresh things, from asparagus to peppers and peas, served with rice

Snow White and the Huntsman Takes Box Office Crown

Snow White and the Huntsman avoided any curses at the box office this weekend, taking the crown rather easily with an impressive haul of $56.3 million.

For those with interest, the figure is the high mark for any Twilight actor in a non-Twilight role Taylor Lautner’s Valentine’s Day in 2010, a film in which the Twilight Saga stud only played a bit role.

In other franchise news, The Hunger Games finally finished outside Top 10 for the first time since March. During its run, it racked up a quartet of number-one finishes and garnered just

Academy Awards Fashion Face-Off: Angelina Jolie vs. Penelope Cruz

Visually, Angelina Jolie and Penelope Cruz are just about peerless.

While husband Brad Pitt was the one in the spotlight, Jolie rocked the Oscars red carpet as always in a fearlessly thigh-high cut Versace velvet dress that turned heads.

Cruz, meanwhile, opted for periwinkle in Armani Prive, adding a classic Grace Kelly-like polish to her ensemble with diamond jewels and shiny 1950s-inspired curls.

Who looked better at the 2012 Oscars? Cast your vote below!

Academy Awards Fashion Face-Off: Jennifer Lopez vs. Cameron Diaz

Jennifer Lopez and Cameron Diaz presented a couple Academy Awards last night, laughing and joking and seeming like good friends.

But the time for funny banter is over. These two beauties are enemies for the next few moments.

We’ve pitted the actresses against each other in a Fashion Face-Off, with Diaz the clear underdog, considering you can pretty much see J. Lo’s nipples in her custom Zuhair Murad gown. Then again, that might be a turn off for some. Compare, contrast and decide for yourself now. Who wore her dress better?

Sacha Baron Cohen Slams The Oscars … Live on Today Show, in Character

In a hilarious minute-long rant, Sacha Baron Cohen went on The Today Show this morning and slammed the Academy Awards for shutting him out… in character.

Cohen, or should we say Admiral General Aladeen, appeared live on NBC’s morning show to express outrage over being banned from the Oscars Sunday night.

The despot’s message, in summation: Death to America, death to the west, and good luck Billy Crystal. Here’s The Dictator himself, General Aladeen, lashing out:

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter Trailer Released

Brace yourselves: The trailer for Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter has arrived!

Yes, this is a real movie. The subject matter of which is explained by the title.

The absurd movie mash-up of historical drama and vampire horror stars Benjamin Walker as our nation’s greatest president, haunted by the death of his mother at a young age, a horrific tragedy blamed on the blood suckers … fictionally of course. We think.

He devotes his life, and ends up President of the United States, as part of an all-out quest to eradicate vampires from the world. The Vampire Diaries should really consider an Abe
