Showing no sign of being influenced by Zac Efron’s version in the 1988 movie, Nick Jonas wowed fans over the weekend at a sold-out, three-night triumph in Hairspray at the Hollywood Bowl.

Nick, 18, recreated Zac’s role as Link Larkin in what critics are praising as a flawless performance of the play, which recounts the story of a plus-sized girl who campaigns for civil rights through a dance show in her home town of Baltimore in the mid-1960′s.

Nick’s role even required him to kiss Marissa Jaret Winokur, who is twenty-years older than him, but girlfriend Delta Goodrem, 26, seemed untroubled;
