Christopher Columbus Says Goodbye to Harry Potter

He’s not as well known as Daniel Radcliffe or Emma Watson, but he’s played as critical a role in the Harry Potter franchise as anyone.

While Twihards are buzzing over the first official trailer for Breaking Dawn, Harry Heads also have a reason to be excited today.

At last night’s MTV Movie Awards, Emma Watson appeared on stage and presented a special first look at the final chapter in this historic chapter. Water for Elephants Clip: Robert and Reese!

First, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Now, Water for Elephants.

On the same day we were treated to our first sneak peek at the final installment of everyone’s favorite boy wizard, Robert Pattinson appeared on MTV and provided the online universe with a clip of his upcoming drama.

Joking that he only acts alongside “hot” girls, Robert then introduced the following sneak peek. Water for Elephants opens on April 22.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2: First Look!

Speaking on the final installment of the Harry Potter franchise, Rupert Grint said this week: “The reason they’re on this journey is much bigger than any one of them. It has to come to a head at some point.”

And come to a head it does on July 15, when Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 premieres.

In the following sneak peek, we see Hogwarts bursting into flames, along with Harry and Voldemort going wand-to-wand. We also hear these words from Grint’s Ron: “This is it, really. This is the end of the line.”

Emma Watson taking ‘time out’ from Brown University

(HMG Celebrity News) – Harry Potter star Emma Watson says she’s taking a break from her studies at Brown University to focus on her career.  The 20-year-old made the announcement on her official website yesterday that she will be postponing her studies until the release of the final “Harry Potter” installment saying:

“As you know, I love Brown and I love studying pretty much more than anything, but recently I’ve had so much to juggle that being a student and fulfilling my other commitments has become a little impossible,” Watson wrote.

Harry Potter Collects $125.1 Million In Opening Weekend, Over $300 Million Worldwide

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 is officially the sixth highest opening weekend movie of all time, taking in an impressive $125.1 million during it’s opening extended weekend, just short of this year’s top movie Iron Man 2 which took in just under $130 million during it’s open weekend take.

According to current numbers the Harry Potter flick took in $330.1 million worldwide since Friday’s midnight shows.

While the movies numbers were impressive, they did not include 3D ticket sales which were not made available for opening weekend, sales which could have added $20-$25 million in
