Lady Gaga Performs on So You Think You Can Dance: Watch Now!

In addition to the week’s So You Think You Can Dance results, viewers were treated to a performance by the Mother Monster herself last night.

Having served as a guest judge the previous night, the hardest working woman in Hollywood taped an elaborate segment that aired Thursday.

Here’s Lady Gaga doing “The Edge of Glory” and “You and I” …

So You Think You Can Dance Review: Going GaGa

Rob Marshall and Lady GaGa joined the So You Think You Can Judge panel this week, as the dancers put in 12 performances. Makes me tired just thinking about it…

Sasha & Pasha – Quickstep (Jonathan Roberts) – Their dancing was over exaggerated in the beginning. It looked like Pasha was holding Sasha upright and, if he wasn’t there, she’d fall right over. The dance was done well, but will probably be forgotten. There was something tribal about Sasha’s dancing, but it could have been because of the headpiece. My Grade: B+.

Caitlynn & Ivan – Hip-Hop (Marty Kudelka) – Just like the song, the

So You Think You Can Dance Review: An All-Star Night

It seems like production value of So You Think You Can Dance went up this week in hopes that Nigel Lythgoe could get another Emmy nod.

A few extra camera pans in the beginning and increased set lighting, along with Cat Deeley’s always cheeky hosting and guest judge Neil Patrick Harris’ best fanboy comments, made for a fun night on the hit Fox competition.

The show definitely brought out the big guns, past and present, as the 10 remaining dancers competed to advance. Let’s break down the performances …

Marko & Chelsie: Samba (Jason Gilkison) – Just like on Dancing with the Stars, you just

So You Think You Can Dance Review: Attack of the Black Widows

The Top 14 danced their hearts out last night, replete with a brand new set of choreographers.

On the judging panel along with Mary Murphy and Nigel Lythgoe were Carmen Electra and Travis Wall, as So You Think You Can Dance continued the adding a choreographer to mix because celebs are useless. With Wall sounding like Ross Matthews when excited, let’s grade all the acts that came before us, shall we?

Guy’s Group Dance – Contemporary (Justin Giles): The dance was supposed to be seven stages of grief. I liked each of the dancers’ solo time while the rest were continuing their movements.

So You Think You Can Dance: Down to 20!

So You Think You Can Dance is down to its final 20. How did it arrive at that number? Read on for a review of last night’s two-hour episode…

The Contemporary Dancers – Ricky, Miranda, and Melanie ended up as finalists. Of the three I loved Miranda’s face when Nigel said “bad news” and how quickly she changed when she found out she was in. The fourth space was filled by one of the Mallory sisters. Sasha (the skinny one) was in, but Natalia (the diabetic) was cut, yet remained supportive.

Stacey Tookey Contemporary Routine – I’m usually upset when they use dry ice in performances, but there

Jacob Lusk: Sabotaged By American Idol Producers?

Let the conspiracy theories begin.

Having drawn comparisons to Luther Vandross all season long, Jacob Lusk tackled the singer’s “Dance With My Father” on American Idol Wednesday night.

It seemed like this was a great opportunity for the Idol hopeful to really shine, but Jacob had trouble from the very first notes. The reason for that? Well …

When Ryan Seacrest asked why he was so emotional at the onset, Jacob said it wasn’t his emotions – there were mysterious drumming noises in his earpiece!

The mixup certainly didn’t help an already fringe candidate. What do you think? Could it have been

Everybody Get Down: It’s The Royal Wedding Dance!

You can blame those newlyweds walking down the aisle to Chris Brown – or thank them, depending on your point of view – for this Royal Wedding tribute.

T-Mobile has released a Royal Wedding entrance dance video starring a faux Prince William, Kate Middleton, Queen Elizabeth, Camilla, Prince Charles et al.

William and Kate don’t wed for another 11 days, and will likely enter more formally, but these lookalikes have already danced their way into our hearts.

American Idol Producer: Pia Toscano "Never the Frontrunner"

The American Idol judges were shocked that Pia Toscano was ousted on last week’s results show, and some fans are petitioning to bring her back.

Executive producer Nigel Lythgoe, however, is not up in arms.

“I know the [voting] results, so I know she was never a frontrunner,” Lythgoe said. “The fact of the matter, it appears, is that Pia didn’t connect with the audience as much as maybe we think she did. And she wasn’t voted through.”

To be fair, Nigel isn’t anti-Pia, he’s just stating facts.

Nigel, who also produces and judges So You Think You Can Dance, did say that Idol could consider

Darren Aronofsky Comes to Detailed Defense of Natalie Portman

Natalie Portman has been accused of contributing to a cover-up involving her participating in Black Swan.

Sarah Lane, the classically-trained dancer who served as Portman’s double in this Oscar-winning film, says she appeared in 95 percent of the full body shots throughout the movie, creating an uproar that director Darren Aronofsky is out to quell.

In a statement he released to Fox Searchlight, Aronofsky comes to his star’s specific defense, writing:

“Here is the reality. I had my editor count shots. There are 139 dance shots in the film. 111 are Natalie Portman untouched. 28 are her

Jersey Shore Season Finale Recap: GET OUT! I AM DONE! DONE!!!!!!

Jersey Shore’s third season ended not with a bang, but with a thud. After 13 weeks, we’re as exhausted by Sammi and Ronni as the reality stars themselves.

There were many fun, hilarious times in Season 3, but the enduring image will be that of a couple so desperately in love … and so loathsome of one another.

As always, THG breaks down some of the top Jersey Shore quotes and scenes in our official +/- recap below. For the last time until Italy, let’s DO THIS:

Breaking up is hard to do. For you. It’s REALLY hard for these idiots.

We pick up where we left off last week. OMG, Ron and Sam are

Lacey Schwimmer and ‘Psycho’ Mike Told to Tone Down Sexual Undertones

(HMG Celebrity News) -  ‘Dancing with the Stars’ couple Lacey Schwimmer and ‘Psycho’ Mike didn’t exactly sizzle on the dance floor stage, but behind the scenes might be another story.  ‘Psycho’ Mike, real name Michael Catherwood, paired with Schwimmer, scored the lowest points on his Foxtrot on the inaugural edition of the latest season of ‘Dancing.’  So while they’re still working on their moves in the ballroom, they don’t need any help off-camera so it seems.

The network (ABC) asked them to tone down the sexual undertones, a source told RadarOnline.com. “They know there is a spark there
