If you are looking for vampires who embrace humans and even fall in love with them, Breaking Dawn opens on November 18.
But if you’re in the mood for an old fashioned tale about a blood sucker with pure disdain for our kind, purchase a ticket for Fright Night. It hits theaters tomorrow and it sets Colin Ferrell loose as Jerry (yes, Jerry), a vampire who causes nothing but problems for Anton Yelchin’s Charley Brewster.
A retelling of a classic, the movie takes full advantage of its 3D status, according to our pals at Movie Fanatic, resulting in an intense paceMore >
Ouch! Four acts advanced last night on America’s Got Talent, but none came from the group of Wild Cards selected the evening before by Howie Mandell. There’s always next year, buddy…
Eliminations Part 1 – Shevonne, Yellow Design Stunt Team, West Springfield Dance Team – WSDT made it through. I hope that the team’s choreographer doesn’t kill them trying to create a more dynamic routine. It made me wonder if WSDT was ranked fourth last week and the judges went with the fifth-ranked Beth Ann Robinson.
Eliminations Part 2 – Avery and the Calico Hearts, Charles Peachock, Those Funny LittleMore >
Anne Hathaway came ready to drop bombs on Conan Tuesday.
With paparazzi stalking the set of The Dark Knight Rises, in which Anne will be playing Catwoman, the actress is looking to release some pent-up frustration.
“With all the stuff that’s been going on with Batman, the paparazzi attention has been a little intense,” she told Conan O’Brien on his show last night. “So I actually wrote a rap song about it … it’s in the style of Lil Wayne.”

Gary V. Giordano is still in custody following the disappearance of Robyn Gardner in Aruba, and will be for another 16 days, according to reports.
While authorities continue to investigate his suspected involvement in the vanishing of his travel partner, authorities will not release Giordano.
Giordano’s lawyer, Michael Lopez, said a 16-day extension was granted because the judge felt, “there are too many open questions as of yet.”
The active search was called off for the missing Maryland woman, suggesting that officials believe she may not be recovered by rescue efforts.

Jill Zarin would like to clear up the rumor she started: this Real Housewife of New York City isn’t going anywhere.
Soon after the most recent season of this entirely scripted series concluded, the self-centered star told People “I don’t know if I can film with these girls.” But, come on, folks, why would you interpret that as her leaving the franchise?!?
“Rumors that I am leaving the show are simply not true,” Zarin tells Us Weekly. “Everything that has been reported is simply rumors, gossip and speculation. I personally have been busy with my shapewear line, Skweez Couture and am stillMore >
Amber Portwood’s brother is defending her after her daughter Leah was shown playing with Gary Shirley’s condoms on last week’s Teen Mom episode.
Shawn Portwood takes issue with the way the producers portray his sister, calling MTV “spineless soulless individuals” in a rant posted on his blog:
“First, I would like to congratulate Teen Mom star Gary Shirley for doing something he should have been doing for a while now, wearing condoms!”
“Second, my hat goes off to you MTV for getting a close up of the Trojan Magnums seen around the world,” Shawn adds of Gary’s brand of choice.

Simon Cowell says he would sign Pippa Middleton “on the spot.”
Sign her to what? Who the heck knows, but she’s got the X-Factor!
“I haven’t heard her sing, but if she walked in and said, ‘I want to be a TV star,’ I would sign her on the spot,” Cowell said. “She just has the X factor.”
Our sentiments exactly, Simon.
“To overshadow your sister when she’s the one getting married? That was impressive,” added Simon, though we don’t know if the Duchess concurs.
It’s true that by some measures, the 27-year-old Pippa Middleton has trumped her royal sibling Kate in terms of popularity and worldMore >

Four people died and 40 more were injured after a stage collapsed at the Indiana State Fair last night, just before the country band Sugarland performed.
High winds are believed to have been the cause of the tragedy.
The collapse was partially captured by a concert-goer. Watch:
The stage collapse was as unexpected as it was lethal.
“The wind just picked up and the stage just caught and the roof just caught and it went up like a sail and then it crashed forward into the people standing in the front,” said a reporter for WANE-TV in Indiana.
