In the dangerous lives of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, when you head to a party, you need backup. That said, we break down last night in our +/- recap!
First, back to Pandora’s wedding extravaganza. Wedding planner Kevin was slightly less annoying this week but that may be because we saw so little of him.
I will give the man a Plus 10. He puts together one heck of a lovely table, but does he really need a million dollar budget to pull that off? I don’t think so.
From there we head over to Kyle’s where she’s throwing a party to celebrate both Cinco de Mayo and mother-in-law

Talk about a matchup made in celebrity fashion heaven.
Lady Gaga’s performance as Jo Calderone wasn’t the last we saw of her male alter ego at the MTV Video Music Awards. She showed up at Sunday’s event in character and continued to channel Jo at an after party following the show!
Topping last year’s meat dress wasn’t easy, but she may have managed it in her understated drag. That is way too convincing. Gaga may have even outshone Nicki Minaj – not an easy feat – for wildest couture choice of the night.

Movie Goers Line Up for Another Helping at the Box Office

Turns out, Jim Carrey isn’t the only one who loves Emma Stone.
For the second consecutive week, The Help earned the top spot at the box office, taking home $14.3 million during a light few days marred by some kind of natural disaster on the east coast.
Elsewhere across Hollywood, Katie Holmes disappointed, while Paul Rudd goofed his way into the top five:

- Colombiana: $10.3 million
- Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark: $8.7 million

Inside N.Y. City’s September 11 Memorial

The 10th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks on New York City is just two weeks from Sunday. How the world has changed in the decade since.
In the video below, CBS takes us inside the memorial site at ground zero, where a a test on one of the reflecting pools was recently run. It’s very cool.
Two pools, each in the footprint of a tower, are an acre in size and 50 feet deep, and will become the largest human-made waterfalls in the nation.

Gavin DeGraw Speaks on Street Assault

Gavin DeGraw is speaking out for the first time since a beating on a New York street left him hospitalized. He says “all hell broke loose” August 8.
Now on the mend at home, DeGraw sustained a broken nose, cuts, bruises and a concussion in a brawl that stemmed from late-night trash talk.
For the first time, he’s opening up about what happened:
“I met up with a couple of friends,” the singer told DC’s Hot 99.5 radio. “I was walking home, I got a few blocks and then all hell broke loose.”

After a decade of dating, Sara Gilbert and Allison Adler have called it quits.
The Talk host and the television producer will share custody of their children (Levi, 6, and Sawyer, 4), according to People, which first reported this split. Gilbert’s rep confirms it and describes the parting as “completely amicable.”
Gilbert and Adler started dating in 2001.

Jessica Beagley, Former Dr. Phil Patient, Convicted of Child Abuse

Jessica Beagley has been convicted of child abuse by an Alaskan jury.
The 36-year old mother of six was featured on an episode of Dr. Phil, during which viewers were shown a video that depicted and/or explained all the way she disciplined her son, 7. Among them: jumping jacks until exhaustion, cold showers and the forced imbibing of hot sauce.
Beagley was found guilty today of a misdemeanor and could face a year in prison. She will be sentenced on Monday.

Her name is Lara Marsden, the tabloid reports, “a sexually provocative Brit” who’s serving as his assistant on the set of World War Z in England and Scotland.

Frank Potenza, the uncle of Jimmy Kimmel and a long-time New York City police officer who retired in 2003 and became a often-used personality on his nephew’s talk show, passed away this morning. He was 77.

Jimmy Kimmel Live has confirmed the news and released a statement referring to how much Frank’s “kindness and humor” will be missed. His cause of death is unknown at this time.
“Thank you for your kind words about a very kind man – my Uncle Frank – who passed away this morning,” Jimmy Tweeted a couple hours ago.

They worked together on Celebrity Apprentice, with Bret Michaels taking home the grand prize.
Now, sources tell The New York Post that this rocker and Donald Trump may team up for another reality TV experience: Something To Believe In, which woud feature Michaels traveling across the country and assisting those under adverse conditions.
