Miley Cyrus took to the stage in Hollywood this weekend and proved once again: she has come a LONG way since the days of Hannah Montana.
The 19-year old performed alongside Borgore – with whom she collaborates on “Decisions” – as part of that artist’s “Christmas Creampies” concert, donning a cleavage-bearing top…
… which was far less revealing than the outfits worn by the many strippers surrounding Miley, dancing their exposed rear ends off and working the poles like professionals.

Perhaps this will make Miley Cyrus feel better:
The singer will not be charged with criminal battery after all, following an allegation against her last week in which a nightclub attendee claimed Cyrus pushed him and struck him in the face.
A surveillance video has surfaced and, according to TMZ sources, it depicts some kind of argument between Miley, Liam Hemsworth and another party at Beacher’s Madhouse in Hollywood.
However, it depicts nary a punch thrown. Nor is physical violence of any kind evident on the tape, which is being passed along to the authorities.

The singer threw herself a little pity party on Twitter last night, posting such cryptic messages as:
- Ever feel like you want just…. something more. not sure what exactly… passion perhaps?
- Sometimes i feel like i love everyone more than they love me. hatttte that feeling.
- Thought of the day: maybe it’s not that they love you less, they just love you the most they are capable of loving.

LOL, the coming-of-age drama starring Miley Cyrus and Demi Moore, opened in limited release this weekend. And we mean VERY limited release:
The movie played in seven cities across the country. Total. As a result, it earned about 1/1,000,000,000th of what The Avengers brought in: $46,500.
Still, Miley has taken to Twitter and expressed gratitude for the dozen or so folks who did shell out their hard-earned money for this unfortunate flop.
“Thank u so much for everyone who went to see LOL,” Cyrus Tweeted on Monday. “It is a film I loved making and I am proud of…. That’s really all thatMore >
Miley Cyrus has gone very public with her defense of gay marriage.
In July of last year, the singer got a tattoo (below) on her finger that she posted on Twitter, along with the caption “All LOVE is Equal.” She got a lot of flak for the move, criticism she’s now responding to via an editorial in Glamor.
“A lot of people mocked me,” Miley writes. “They said, ‘What happened to you? You used to be a Christian girl!’ And I said, ‘Well, if you were a true Christian, you would have your facts straight. Christianity is about love.’”More >

Miley Cyrus was involved in yet another videotaped scandal this week, but this time it’s hard not to side with the superstar. Here’s what went down:
While on vacation in Costa Rica with boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, Miley stopped to pose with a few fans. But she then had to go and turned to walk away… only for one onlooker to refer to her as an “asshole.” Cyrus whipped around and replied (20-second mark, below):
“What the f-ck? Are you for real? We’re on vacation!”
Miley later took to Twitter and explain ed her reaction:

Bravo, Miley Cyrus.
The singer recently returned from a trip to Haiti with the Starkey Hearing Foundation, where she helped that organization hand out hundreds of hearing aids to those still devastated by last year’s earthquake.
“This second mission to Haiti was just as impactful to me as the first one,” said Cyrus. “I grew up around music and couldn’t imagine what it would be like for my siblings and me, if we couldn’t hear the magic of music. It’s had such an influence on my life, that I just want everyone to enjoy sound as it was intended.”
Add Miley Cyrus to the guest list. If the singer says yes, that is.
Cyrus is the latest celebrity to receive an invitation to the 2011 Marine Corps Ball, as Private First Class Hart has asked the star to the annual shindig at Camp Pendleton in California via a YouTube video (below).

For the second summer in a row, Miley Cyrus is delivering an important message to fans: get your good on!
In a new video, the singer speaks on behalf of the website Get Ur Good On, which pushes teens to get into charity.
“The mission of the foundation… is [for] kids to encourage other kids not to spend time putting each other down, but to come together and meet through this, and for it not to be about anything else but love and the passion of doing good,” Cyrus said, adding:

In April, Miley Cyrus said she was headed on an international tour because she didn’t know if America wanted to hear from her these days.
It was an odd thing to say, but if Cyrus was looking for love, she definitely found it in Panama City. That area welcomed the singer with open arms, and very loud screams this week.
And Miley rewarded the crowd with a set that included such favorites as “Stay” and “Can’t Be Tamed.” Just listen to how bonkers it gets when the former is introduced…

In his continuing attempt to mend his family, Billy Ray Cyrus has made clear his one wish for daughter Miley: unadulterated happiness.
“My wish for her is to be happy. To love what she’s doing,” the famous father tells Parade. “We’ve always had a slogan in our family: ‘If you ain’t happy, it ain’t working.’ You need to love what you’re doing. As long as she’s happy and loving making music – and I know she loves acting – that’s all that matters.”
Miley kicks off a tour of Australia later this month and Billy Ray says it’s been incredible to watch her journey as an artist.

Lauren Alaina selected Miley Cyrus’ “The Climb” on American Idol because “it’s about a young girl struggling to reach her dreams.” Will Lauren reach hers?
The inspirational hit song’s top notes are slightly outside the best part of this aspiring singer’s range, but she does a commendable job of it live, overall.
The judges liked it and so, we’re guessing, will voters. In fact, before she even got out there, Jimmy Iovine called her a “much better singer” than Miles.
