Amazon in MAJOR Hot Water for "Keep Calm and Rape Them" Shirts

Amazon is hearing it from many sides today, following a sale on its UK website Saturday of T-shirts that encourage violence against women.
The items – manufactured and also sold in the U.S. – included slogans such as “Keep Calm and Rape a Lot” and “Keep Calm and Rape Them.”
They were retailing for between $23 and $26.
It didn’t take long for Amazon to remove the shirts, but not before receiving hundreds of complains.

Dump Trump Billboard: Circling Macy’s Headquarters!

The online campaign urging Macy’s to Dump Trump is hitting the streets – billboard style.
On Saturday, a mobile billboard attached to a truck began circling Macy’s headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio, as well as a nearby department store.
In New York, another mobile billboard began circling the company’s flagship store in Herald Square. The goal? Get Macy’s to cut ties with Donald Trump.
Dump Trump, a petition from the liberal group MoveOn (dot) org, has gained nearly 680,000 signatures since launching last month in a bid to get him fired.

Victoria’s Secret Apologizes For Native American Headdress in Fashion Show

Victoria’s Secret has apologized after the use of a Native American-style headdress by a model in its recent fashion show sparked outrage.
Model Karlie Kloss (above) donned the headdress at the brand’s annual fashion show, and was instantly criticized for ignorance toward tribal culture and history.
The company responded over the weekend, saying it was sorry to have upset anyone and wouldn’t include the outfit in the show’s TV broadcast next month.

Aurora Shooting Victim Files Lawsuit Against Movie Theater, Warner Bros.

Torrence Brown, Jr., one of the many Dark Knight Rises viewers who was inside the Aurora, Colorado movie theater when James Holmes opened fire last Friday morning, has filed a lawsuit in conjunction with the massacre.
Brown was not physically injured, but he lost close friend A.J. Boik in the shooting and says he’s suffering from major trauma. As a result, he’s filed a suit against three defendants:
- The movie theater, which attorney Donald Karpel says was negligent in not possessing a more secure emergency door, which made it easy for Holmes to prop it open and enter it with his arsenal
