No one on the planet should be as famous as me.
Doesn’t sound like something Kelly Clarkson would say, does it? Exactly, the American Idol champion Tweeted today.
Clarkson has gone off on the U.K. Mirror‘s Sunday Celebs edition for making her sound obnoxious on its latest cover, writing of the above quote and image, along with implications that she suffered through an eating disorder:
“Just to clear up the absolutely wrong so called quotes from me, I have never had anorexia nor did I ever say ‘no one should be as famous as me.’”
Kelly went on to explain what actually went

Miranda Lambert Makes Up with Ashton Kutcher
Miranda Lambert didn’t exactly love Ashton Kutcher’s get-up at this year’s Academy of Country Music Awards.
Was Ashton Kutcher making fun of country or is it just me? Watching it back now and I’m kinda wondering? the beloved country star asked about Kutcher presenting an award at the event, while donning a giant cowboy hat and belt buckle.
But whatever tension may have existed between the stars is now gone, as Lambert Tweeted the following photo of herself and the Two and a Half Men star at a pre-Kentucky Derby charity event Saturday night:
“Here it is y’all. He is sweet and lives country

Note to future celebrities asked to present at an awards ceremony: do not make fun of the stars and the industry honored at said ceremony.
This may seem like common sense to most, but not to someone who needs to hire a management team to oversee his Tweets. Yes, we’re looking at you, Ashton Kutcher.
For some reason, the actor took to the stage at Sunday’s Academy of Country Music Awards and handed out the Female Vocalist of the Year trophy to Miranda Lambert… while donning an oversized cowboy hat and painfully singing a few bars of George Strait’s “I Cross My Heart.”
“Was Ashton Kutcher
More >Two and a Half Men Creator on Female-Driven Sitcoms: Ewww, Periods!
Who knew Charlie Sheen may not have been the biggest sleazeball on the set of Two and a Half Men?!?
In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, co-creator Lee Aronsohn said his sitcom is nearing a deal to bring Ashton Kutcher back for a 10th season, adding that he isn’t a fan of many new comedic programs that feature women – such as Whitney and 2 Broke Girls – because they talk too much about their lady parts.
“Enough ladies. I get it. You have periods,” Aronsohn complains. “We’re approaching peak vagina on television, the point of labia saturation.”
Aronsohn – who later tried to
More >Carrie Underwood Rocks the House at ACM Awards
Carrie Underwood kicked off Sunday night’s Academy of Country Music Awards with a big blast of rock ‘n’ roll, showing her vocal chops in belting out “Good Girl.”
Her sexy black and magenta mini-dress was a nice touch too.
To those looking for a lot of traditional twang out of the country gala, Carrie’s song was something of a warning shot … this is 21st century country music.
The ACMs are very much a celebration of what the genre has become, with arena rockers (Kenny Chesney and Jason Aldean) and a wave of 20-something upstarts incorporating different sounds into the genre (Taylor Swift,

Taylor Swift Invites Cancer Patient to ACM Awards
In case you still weren’t convinced that Taylor Swift is totally awesome…
The singer was invited last week to attend the prom of Kevin McGuire, an 18-year old from New Jersey who has suffered a relapse of leukemia.
The invitation was set up by Kevin’s sister, Tori, who created a “Taylor Swift Take Kevin McGuire to Prom!” Facebook page that has nearly 100,000 followers and on whose profile it reads:
Kevin is the kindest, most noble 18 year old a person could even fathom meeting, and throughout his ups and downs Kevin never even questioned ‘why me?’ Nothing, and I mean NOTHING brightens

It didn’t get the attention of Kelly Clarkson’s national anthem or Madonna’s halftime show (both great), but Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton performed a beautiful rendition of “America the Beautiful” at Super Bowl XLVI last night.
The married country stars did justice to the classic, often overshadowed by “The Star Spangled Banner” and “God Bless America,” but a wonderful tribute to our nation.
