The body of Rodney King was discovered at the bottom of a pool by his fiancee last month, with the cause of death listed as “accidental drowning.”
That may technically still be the case, but the official death report has come out and it’s undeniable now that the man whose 1991 beating sparked riots in Los Angeles stumbled to his demise at the result of numerous substances in his body.
It’s unclear if he jumped or fell into the water, according to the coroner, but King was “in a state of drug and alcohol induced delirium” at the time of his passing.

Sage Stallone Cause of Death Remains Unknown

The mystery behind Sage Stallone’s death will, unfortunately, remain unsolved for at least another month or so.
An autopsy has been performed on the 36-year old son of actor Sylvester Stallone, who was found dead in his home on Friday, but a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Coroner tells CNN it still requires the results of toxicology tests. This typically takes six weeks.

Robert Wagner is not a suspect in Natalie Wood’s death despite a recent and unusual change in the late actress’ death certificate, according to reports.
The L.A. County Coroner’s office has changed the cause of death in 1981 from “Accident” to “Undetermined” after reopening the Natalie Wood case.
The reason for the change: Bruising on Wood’s body that is not necessarily consistent with an accident. In other words, no proof of foul play.
In 1981, then-L.A. County Coroner Thomas Noguchi jumped to the conclusion that Wood’s death was an accident after he shockingly drowned.

The 911 call placed moments after Whitney Houston’s body was found in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton hotel on February 11 has just been released.
A member of the hotel security team is the person who made the call, informing the 911 operator about a “46-year-old female found in the bathroom.”
The caller says he was alerted to the situation by an “irate” woman who called security from the room, but couldn’t get much information from her.

The Los Angeles County Coroner has released the official cause of death for Whitney Houston.
According to the report, the singer passed away due to an “accidental drowning” that was related to heart disease and also the presence of cocaine in her system.
An insider tells TMZ that it’s “very possible” the heart attack caused Whitney to pass out and fall under the water. It’s also likely this was triggered by the use of cocaine. It should be noted, however, that no cocaine was found in the hotel room where Houston passed away.

The official results of an autopsy performed on Whitney Houston yesterday will not be released for weeks.
But sources tell TMZ the family of this legend has been informed by the coroner’s office that Houston died from a lethal mixture of prescription pills, most notably Xanax, and alcohol.
