Sean Lowe: Nicest Bachelorette Contestant Ever?
The Bachelorette contestant Sean Lowe may be the nicest guy ever.
Some new info about his life outside the reality show has been revealed, and unlike most of The Bachelorette spoilers you read in mid-season, it doesn’t involve a breakup, a scandal, being on the show for the wrong reasons or anything like that.
On the contrary, it will simply make viewers love him even more.
According to Reality Steve, last summer, two high school friends in Sean’s native Texas were both patients at Dallas Childrens Hospital and passed away tragically.
Both sets of parents had said that their daughters’

Jason Trawick Serenades Britney Spears En Route to X Factor Set
Jason Trawick may have swept Britney Spears off her feet, but there’s a reason the man made a career as a talent agent and not the actual talent.
In a short, fun video he posted, Jason serenades The X Factor judge with a few bars of “Sister Christian” while driving her to her San Francisco auditions.
They’re quite cute together, and her reaction is great:
Jason Trawick Sings to Britney
“Rode in my 1st @Uber to @TheXFactorUSA auditions in SF today! Jason auditioned for me … I wouldn’t put him through…” the pop star tweeted.
“Not fair! Can I please try my second song choice? I promise to

Gene Simmons’ Daughter Sophie Auditions For X Factor
Gene Simmons’ daughter did not spend Father’s Day with her dad. Instead, Sophie Simmons flew out to San Francisco to try out for The X Factor.
While Gene and Sophie do have a close relationship, Sophie decided to spend Sunday with Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid, Britney Spears and Demi Lovato.
“This isn’t about my dad. This is all about my audition,” Sophie reportedly told the judges, asking to be judged on merit and not by her surname.
Sophie may or may not have made it to the next round, but with a rock star for a dad, she’s likely not afraid of performing on the stage at least.

The Choice, Fox’s new dating show with thematic elements similar to The Voice, has cast a variety of singers, actors, models and reality stars galore.
Joe Jonas, Dean Cain, Tyson Beckford, Taylor Hicks, Jersey Shore‘s Pauly D and The Situation, Rob Kardashian and other dudes will compete for love.
The Choice’s female celebrities include Miss USA wild child Rima Fakih, actress Carmen Electra and models Hope Dworaczyk and Sophie Monk.
As hinted in The Choice promo, four stars sit in spinning chairs with their backs to a group of non-famous prospective dates, who pitch themselves.

More >Shannon Magrane Hits an American Idol Home Run
With her performance in Hollywood last night, let’s hope Shannon Magrane finally gets recognized for her potential to actually win American Idol.
So far, the 16-year old has been the subject of inappropriate remarks from Steven Tyler, as well as lame puns from Fox producers (we were told last night that the contestant “hopes to a home run.” Get it? Because he father pitched in the World Series!).
But let’s not lose track of an important fact, folks: Shannon can sing! She proves as much below, belting out a version of “What a Wonderful World.”

More >Rachel Crow on X Factor Elimination: Don’t Blame Nicole!
It was the most emotional scene of The X Factor season: Rachel Crow, 13, falling into sobs as soon after she eliminated from the competition this week… while the crowd booed Nicole Scherzinger for not casting a vote that would have saved the contestant.
After the show, however, Rachel was far more calm than many in the audience.
Rachel Crow Sings for Survival
“I am not feeling the greatest, but I will be fine,” the singer told the press, adding of Scherzinger: “She told me that she was sorry. I don’t know why she said that… I told her it was okay and not her fault.”

More >Did Adam Levine Slam Adam Lambert on The Voice?
The Voice highlighted its final eight contestants last night.
But instead of focusing on the performances, Twitter was alive this morning with buzz over one of Adam Levine’s critiques.
As seen below, in praising Nakia for his cover of “Whataya Want From Me,” the Maroon 5 singer took a few seemingly random jabs at Adam Lambert.
Nakia – Whataya Want From Me (The Voice)
“I’m not familiar with that song, but you just forced me to like it,” Levine said. “I’m pretty sure, although I’ve never heard that song before, that you probably sang it better than the person that sang it More >
America’s Got Talent: Reigning in Seattle?
America’s Got Talent headed to Seattle this week, with the show losing credibility every time Howie tries to let in lemon acts such as the Paper Horn Man.
The evening didn’t impress me much and I was surprised the producers decided kept this episode alone when tomorrow’s previews were miles better than most of the auditions this week. For the highs and lows, read on…
The HighsSeattle’s First Contestant, impressionist Melissa Villasenor, was probably the best opening for a talent show in a while. Comedians/impressionists don’t normally succeed on the show, but she was almost pitch perfect

American Idol Elimination: Who Remains?
Despite having two chances to sing for the votes of viewers on Tuesday night, no American Idol finalist distinguished himself or herself this week.
There was no clear cut favorite to stick around or to be sent home, making this evening’s elimination the most difficult of the season to predict.
So, which unlucky crooner won’t be taking us back to his hometown next week?
Jams Durbin heard his name called by Ryan Seacrest tonight, surprising many viewers who thought the aspiring rocker had the best chance to go all the way.
“I worked so damn hard to get here,” James said, fighting back

Should the Judges Have Saved Casey Abrams?
Casey Abrams saw his life flash before his eyes last night. His American Idol life, that is.
The bearded singer was surprisingly voted out by fans, following a lackluster Motown cover on Wednesday. Like the finalists before him, Casey was then given the chance to sing one more time in front of the judges in order to convince them to use their one-time “save” and keep him around.
And it worked! In a decision that left Abrams visibly stunned – and audibly cursing at one point, watch the clip below – J. Lo, Randy and Steven told the contestant he was safe.

Haley Reinhart: Boring or Roaring?
Was it boring or did it result in roaring?
Of all the American Idol finalists who took to the stage last night, Haley Reinhart received the most mixed feedback from the judges.
Randy Jackson gave Haley props for going from Alicia Keys one week to LeAnn Rimes the next, but he also referred to her rendition of “Blue” as “sleepy” and “boring.” Steven Tyler, conversely, said you could hear the parts of America who loved country western music “roaring” over the performance.
Jennifer Lopez? She just spouted praise-filled nonsense, as always. Watch Reinhart yodel her way through an interesting

So Not Money: Michelle Goes All Psycho Stalker on Brad Womack
She may not win the final rose (THG’s Bachelor spoilers have a thing or two to say about that), but Michelle Money is definitely the contestant of the year.
Watching the 30-year-old – not 29, not 31 – become more and more unhinged this season has been a treat for The Bachelor viewers … or just frightening.
Michelle surpassed her own crazy standards on last night’s episode, sneaking into Brad Womack’s villa, demanding answers and trashing the other girls:
Michelle Money Gives Brad Womack Advice
Womack, who’s a bit stiff on his best days, was floored when Michelle Money called him out
More >Former American Idol Contestant Is Homeless, But Not Really
If you’re a fan of the show American Idol you may recall a Texas native by the name of Alex Lambert who was voted off just before the top 12 elimination round. Lambert was talented enough that a petition eventually surfaced with 19,000 signatures to have him reinstated as the show’s wildcard and now we have come to learn that Lambert is claiming to be a homeless person on the streets of Hollywood.
Lambert’s performances of “Wonderful World” and “Trouble” were good enough for him to gain the fan support of actress Demi Moore, while garnering him a spot on Simon Fuller’s viral reality series
