Rush Limbaugh: Ashamed of America!
You’ve done it now, Democrats. You’ve made Rush Limbaugh officially “ashamed” to be an American.
That’s how the conservative radio host described himself yesterday when ranting about the budget sequestration, an issue President Obama says could cripple the economy if Congress can’t strike a deal before next month.
Limbaugh believes that argument from Obama – who said yesterday that love of rich people binds the GOP together – is an “insult” to his “common sense and intelligence.”

In this fun viral video, a pair of canine pals communicate in a video chat … which soon turns somewhat heated for reasons we humans aren’t privy to.
Seems like these two have some issues to hash out …

We may never know.

Ben Affleck: NOT Running For Office
Despite a unique set of circumstances that made the idea feasible and rumors of his political ambitions, Ben Affleck will not be running for U.S. Senate.
“I love Massachusetts and our political process, but I am not running for office,” the Argo director wrote on his Facebook page Monday, December 24.
“We are about to get a great U.S. Secretary of State and there are some phenomenal candidates in Massachusetts for his Senate seat,” he added.
“I look forward to an amazing campaign.”
“Right now it’s a privilege to spend my time working with Eastern Congo Initiative (ECI),

Kyrsten Sinema Becomes First Bisexual Member of Congress
Democrat Kyrsten Sinema has been elected to represent a new Phoenix-area district, becoming the first openly bisexual person to serve in U.S. Congress.
Sinema’s victory came in a year when three states approved gay marriage, and at least five openly gay Democrats were elected to U.S. House seats.
Tammy Baldwin, a Wisconsin congresswoman, also became the first openly gay person elected to the U.S. Senate during last Tuesday’s election.
Sinema had a narrow lead on election night that made the race too close to call, but slowly improved that advantage as more ballots were tallied

What was intended to be a joke by Justin Bieber has landed the singer in a bit of hot water.
In an interview with Rolling Stone – inside the same issue that contains sex advice from the young star – Bieber is asked about his nationality and responds:
“I’m actually part Indian. I think Inuit or something? I’m enough percent that in Canada, I can get free gas.”
Harmless, right? Not to everyone…
The Congress of Aboriginal Peoples has chimed and the group is unhappy with the implication behind Justin’s words.

Obama Divorce Story: New Book Claims Michelle Nearly Left Barack in 2000
The controversial new biography of President Barack Obama claims that his wife, Michelle Obama, planned to leave the future president in 2000.
Is the divorce story real? Is anything in the book?
The unauthorized biography, which Klein claims is based on nearly 200 interviews, has been dismissed by presidential spokesperson Eric Schultz.
“Ed Klein has a proven history of reckless fabrication in order to sell books,” he said. “Nobody in their right mind would believe the nonsense in this one.”
Nevertheless, the Obama divorce story is the latest revelation in the book – which also discusses

Mitt Romney’s wealth and detachment – perceived or legitimate – from the common voter was certainly evident in Saturday’s South Carolina primary results.
It also became fodder for late night comedians, or even Jay Leno for that matter. Sorry. Anyway, furing his monologue on Thursday, Jay got in on the act.
The Tonight Show host presented a clip from The Insider that included photos of the homes of presidential hopefuls Newt Gingrich, Ron Paul and Romney.
Only instead of revealing Romney’s real summer home, the bit replaced the original shot with one of the Golden Temple of Amristar in

U.S. Sen. Rand Paul, son of U.S. Rep. and presidential candidate Ron Paul, was detained by TSA agents this morning after a standoff in Nashville, Tenn.
The younger Paul told his communications director about the airport predicament after he reportedly refused to complete the routine screening process.
Paul staffer Moira Bagley tweeted around 10 a.m., ET Monday , “Just got a call from @senrandpaul. He’s currently being detained by TSA in Nashville.”
A TSA spokesman disputed that Paul was ever “detained” … but the fact is he was not granted access to the secure area of the airport this

John King did not have a good night Thursday.
At last night’s CNN debate in Charleston, S.C., the network’s moderator was absolutely eviscerated by Newt Gingrich after King brought up his ex-wife’s recent interview in undoubtedly the event’s most memorable exchange.
Not only that, he seemed to skip over Ron Paul – a doctor by trade – more than once, most notably during an exchange about the candidates abortion positions:
Following a back-and-forth between Republican presidential candidates Gingrich, Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum, King changed the topic, only

A Georgia woman, Ginger White, says she and Herman Cain had a 13-year affair that lasted nearly until the businessman announced his White House run.
Last weekend, FOX 5 Atlanta sat down with White, who insisted that despite coming forward, “I’m not proud. I didn’t want to come out with this. I did not.”
White was worried a political tsunami was headed her way, so, she decided to head it off, confessing her alleged 13-year-long affair with the Republican.

To say Morgan Freeman is not a fan of the Tea Party movement would be putting it mildly. In an interview on CNN’s Piers Morgan Tonight, Freeman labels Tea Partiers radicals whose sole aim is to oust President Obama from office.
“But it’s not a racist thing?” asked Morgan.
“It is a racist thing,” replied Freeman.
“Their publicly stated policy is to do whatever it takes to see that Obama serves only one term. What underlies that? Screw the country,” Freeman lamented.
“We’re going to do whatever we can to get this black man out of here.”
“We’re supposed to be better than that. It shows the

Ben Affleck has proven himself as an actor and as a director.
But what about as a bearded man and as a man who is cleanly shaven?
That’s the question on tap for readers today, as the star is currently filming the movie Argo, which chronicles a life-and-death covert operation to rescue six Americans during the Iran hostage crises. Affleck’s role didn’t require him to shave. Lucky dog.
Wish Affleck well with his impending third baby and then vote on his looks below:

Obama Jobs Speech Happens; Did Anyone Watch?
You have to give President Obama credit for delivering his “American Jobs Act” speech at 7 p.m. EST, getting it over with early enough so that he wouldn’t interfere with the Saints vs. Packers game and/or a crucial episode of Big Brother.
On the flip side, 8 p.m. on is called prime time for a reason.
If you missed it (purposely or not) The Prez blended his trademark oration with economic proposals that essentially boiled down to him telling the Republican-led Congress, “You should pass this jobs plan right away.”
Obama tried to position himself with the public and
