Comedian Louis C.K. is never at a loss for words, and that includes regarding Twitter … on which he only has an account so he can tell people how to give him money.
That’s a direct quote from his recent sit-down on Conan, and it wasn’t his last – the Louie star basically said that people squandering their lives thanks to social media.
Between Tweeting and taking photos of events just to bomb them out using social media outlets, are we directly missing real-world experiences? Louis C.K. says yes.

Anne Hathaway, who will soon begin filming for her role of Selina Kyle in “The Dark Knight Rises,” has showcased one of her hidden talents on a talk show. Conan O’Brien urged Hathaway to express her troubles with the media in the form of a song, and while everyone was expecting some kind of a ballad, Hathaway surprised her viewers by unleashing a full blown rap verse.
Before delivering the high-pitched rap performance Hathaway said, “With all the stuff that’s going on with Batman, the paparazzi attention’s been a little intense. So I actually wrote a rap song about it…It’s in the style ofMore >
Anne Hathaway came ready to drop bombs on Conan Tuesday.
With paparazzi stalking the set of The Dark Knight Rises, in which Anne will be playing Catwoman, the actress is looking to release some pent-up frustration.
“With all the stuff that’s been going on with Batman, the paparazzi attention has been a little intense,” she told Conan O’Brien on his show last night. “So I actually wrote a rap song about it … it’s in the style of Lil Wayne.”
What better influence, right? Watch:
Kathy Griffin ran into Tea Party Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann in the elevator the other day. According to Griffin, the meeting didn’t fare to well.
Strangely the presidential candidate had someone pull out a camera and tape the interaction. To which Griffin took full advantage of the stage and asked the presidential candidate for her support in the next Don’t Ask Don’t Tell repeal policy.
Bachmann reportedly laughed it off. Griffin, of course, wasn’t deterred and blatantly attempted to stir the pot by asking, “Congresswoman Bachmann, were you born a bigot or did you, like, grow into it?”More >
After valiant efforts by both George Lopez and his bosses to gain ratings TBS have just announced they have canceled Lopez Tonight after only two seasons. The show will end Thursday.
“TBS has reached the difficult decision not to order a third season of Lopez Tonight,” a spokesman says. “We are proud to have partnered with George, who is an immensely talented comedian and entertainer. TBS has valued its partnership with George and appreciates all his work on behalf of the network, both on and off the air.”
Lopez, 50, is a former stand-up comic and has worked in ABC sitcoms, but since itsMore >
Comedian George Lopez may not be the leading late night talk show man at TBS anymore, but he sure is stirring up some controversy for late night TV.
Lopez admitted to Piers Morgan on his CNN show that he doesn’t care much for competitor Jay Leno. Previously describing Leno has the “biggest two-faced dude and a backstabber,” Lopez played off the vile nature of his remarks but didn’t retract his previous statements.
“I don’t have a personal relationship with Jay Leno. We are not friends. Nor have we ever been friendly. I’ve heard some things said about me by him that I took exception to,” saidMore >
Conan O’Brien earned an honorary degree from Dartmouth over the weekend, a fact he brought up in mocking, self-deprecating fashion while delivering the commencement address at the university on Sunday.
“My first job as your commencement speaker is to illustrate that life is not fair,” he said. “For instance, you have worked tirelessly for four years to earn the diploma you’ll be receiving this weekend. And Dartmouth is giving me the same degree for interviewing the fourth lead in Twilight. Deal with it.”

Conan O’Brien can’t say he wasn’t warned about the #beardpocalypse.
Last month, Will Ferrell made a Funny or Die video demanding Conan shave off his ginger beard or Will would do it for him when he came on his show May 2.
The comedian made good on his threat Monday night. As O’Brien sat waiting, Ferrell took a sip of “the blue stuff” used to disinfect combs and went to town!
Ferrell gave O’Brien a stack of 1970s-era “Playboy” magazines, asked him “Are you ready to feel the steel?” and let him have it with his razor, Excalibeard:
Lady Gaga says Rebecca Black is a genius. We’re not sure about that, but she sure is … something. The poster child for an entirely new genre of music, perhaps.
Black’s hit song did not become a hit because it’s good. HECK no. It only has tens of millions of views because it’s just too perplexing/amazing not to share.
On the day before the now-celebrated weekly holiday that made Black famous, Conan O’Brien one-ups the Internet phenom with a terrific parody of “Friday.”
It’s called … wait for it … “Thursday.” Watch after the jump:
Justin Bieber continued his media blitz last night, promoting “Never Say Never” on Conan and Chelsea Lately.
During the former stop, Bieber touched on a number of subjects, ranging from his hair to his favorite candy to his impression of Barack Obama. Yes, Justin Bieber did an impression of President Obama. How can you not watch this clip?!?
Over on E!, meanwhile, Bieber talked to Handler about his Grammy loss to Esperanza Spalding (“I’m not gonna lie. People are expecting me to say something else, but I’m disappointed.”) and Lady Gaga’s unusual event entranceMore >
[HMG Celebrity News] – Charlie Sheen has packed more unfettered living into the past six months than most of us could in ten years. And as his ‘Two and a Half Men’ co-star, Jon Cryer told Conan last night it often makes him worry what Chuck could do next;
“It’s always a little weird because the stuff you hear is just unbelievable,” the 45-year old Emmy winner told Coco. “I’m checking TMZ every day to know if I have to go to work at all.”
Even at work, where he can get the latest scandal direct from the source, the stories get pretty weird.

After months of anticipations, Conan O’Brien brought his unique hair and comedic style to TBS last night. Among the highlights on the debut of Conan:
- Monologue jokes that included shots at NBC – “I’m going to be honest: It’s not easy doing a late-night show on a channel without a lot of money and that viewers have trouble finding. So that’s why I left NBC.” – and even his new employer:
“This is an exciting night. I’m glad to be on cable – truth is, I’ve dreamed of being a talk show host on basic cable ever since I was 46… And things are going well already. I’m happy to report that we’reMore >
(HMG Celebrity News) – Actor/comedian Andy Richter will be serving as sidekick again to Conan O’Brien, when he returns to late-night TV on TBS next month. The two have great chemistry and a long history that is reminiscent of Johnny Carson and Ed McMahon. Richter and O’Brien first joined forces in 1993 on NBC’s “Late Night with Conan O’Brien,” until 2009. He worked with O’Brien again on the short-lived The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien that ran from 2009 to 2010. “Conan” premieres Nov. 8.

[HMG] – Since the Tonight Show was stolen from under him in January, Conan O’Brien has been almost a ghost. But all you Team Coco fans can relax – His new show starts on November 8, and now it even has its own name.
“It’s ‘Conan.’ Simple, pure – like the guy himself,” O’Brien says in this promo video released to TeamCoco.com.
To millions, Conan was the star of late-night TV for seventeen years – First with ‘Late Night,’ then the doomed nine-month flirtation with the ‘Tonight Show.’ He finally quit on January 22 when the NBC suits tried to use him to help save Jay Leno by moving Coco’s showMore >
