Oz the Great and Powerful Trailer: Revealed at Comic-Con!
The first trailer for Oz: The Great and Powerful dropped today at Comic-Con, and the Sam Raimi-directed prequel to The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, which is slated for a March 2013 release, looks like it will be a sight to behold.
The movie tells how the Wizard arrived in Oz and became the ruler:

Starring James Franco as a magician who is transported to the faraway land, eventually transforming into Oz: The Great and Powerful. We are also introduced to three witches, played by Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz, and Michelle Williams.

HBO cult ‘Tales from the Crypt’ set for reboot
If the end of Comic-Con left you hungry for more comic-book fun you might want to sit down – After 15-years one of the most popular comic-themed shows ever to air on HBO – ‘Tales Of The Crypt’ is set to return.
First aired from 1989 to 1996 it gained a huge fanbase and featured guests such as Martin Sheen, Whoopi Goldberg, Teri Hatcher, Demi Moore, Arnold Schwarzenegger [yes, him!,] Tom Hanks, Joe Pesci, Brad Pitt and many others.
But those behind this return say the new version will have almost no connection to its HBO days;

Spider Man star, Rhys Ifans arrested at Comic Con
Spider-Man star, Rhys Ifans has been arrested at Comic Con and now faces charges of battery after an altercation with a female security guard.
Rhys, 44, who plays the villain Dr. Curt Connors [and was once engaged to no less than Sienna Miller,] was due to appear on a guest panel at the convention in San Diego on Friday [his birthday] to promote the movie and his role in it.

Despite being one of the most eagerly awaited movies in recent years Peter Jackson decided not to preview ‘The Hobbit’ at this year’s Comic-Con. But he did release a superb preview poster.
On Wednesday the 49-year old triple-Oscar winner told fans on his Facebook page he didn’t feel the movie was ready to even be presented in preview.

Fans of the Twilight saga who are used to starting their day early got an unexpected treat at the debut of Comic-Con in San Diego today – Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed, Elizabeth Reaser and other stars arrived for a preview of the next chapter, “Breaking Dawn,’
