Jeffrey Ross Dreses Like Joe Paterno, Cracks Colorado Shooting Jokes at Comedy Central Roast

Jeffrey Ross arrived for the Comedy Central Roast of Roseanne Barr yesterday dressed as Joe Paterno and accompanied by two young boys in only Penn State helmets and a towel.

To many, though, this get-up was actually NOT the most offensive act by the comedian during the event.

Still wearing his costume, Ross took to the podium and addressed a red-haired Seth Greene with a clear reference to alleged Colorado shooter James Holmes:

“Congratulations,” Ross said to Green. “This is actually a really big night for you. You haven’t gotten this much attention since you shot all those people in

Porn Star Capri Anderson Wants Her Revenge by Roasting Charlie Sheen

If you remember Charlie Sheen’s infamous hotel meltdown last year, you would definitely remember the name Capri Anderson- the porn star, who was allegedly beaten up and strangulated by an intoxicated Sheen.

At first, she didn’t press charges against the former “Two and a Half Men” superstar, but after cooking it it for over a month and watching the media go crazy over the incident, she decided to cash in and dragged Sheen to the court. But Sheen filed a counter lawsuit and when the dust settled, Anderson had nothing to show for it.

In court, she didn’t get what she wanted, so now the adult

Family Guy’s Seth MacFarlane to run Charlie Sheen roast

In a slick move that should upset the ‘Two and Half Men’ team, Comedy Central have chosen ‘Family Guy’ creator, Seth MacFarlane as the host of their forthcoming roast of Charlie Sheen.

“I’m very excited to work with Comedy Central again on the roast,” says Seth. “Charlie is a true icon with a talent that is strong, pure and concentrated into small crystals which can be smoked or eaten.”

And the boss of Comedy Central’s programming division is a big fan of both Seth and his nomination to run the event;

“In addition to his sharp wit, Seth is way more suave and sophisticated than we are,” Kent

Did Will Ferrell say that ‘Office’ Job will be permanent?

(HMG Celebrity News) – As Steve Carell’s Michael Scott prepares to leave the show, as head of Scranton’s workplace on ‘The Office,’ it looks likes Will Ferrell may step in to take over — permanently? The funnyman is definitely scheduled for a four-episode arc, which begins with the April 14 episode. But he told UsMagazine.com at Saturday’s Comedy Central Awards it’s “looking good” for him to join the series after Carell’s exit.

Ferrell added that his role on The Office will amount to a “regular, full-time gig.”

However, sources close to the show downplayed Ferrell’s remarks as only

Chris Brown Gets DOWN on Tosh.0!

It’s a good thing Chris Brown wasn’t on the Dancing With the Stars season premiere last night, because everyone else would have just thrown in the towel.

Last week, the R&B singer made a funny cameo on Comedy Central’s Tosh.0, showing off some SICK dance moves in the hilarious program’s writers room.

You have to watch the video to understand the absurd context in which this happened, but it all started like many Tosh segments do – with a viral video.

Watch Chris show ‘em how it’s done below …

FAIL: The Situation Roasts Donald Trump, Himself

Donald Trump recently took a $2 million pounding for charity. But The Situation, one of the people who roasted The Donald, was really the joke of the night.

Talk about grenades. That’s pretty much what the Jersey Shore star offered up to the audience at the Comedy Central event. The guy flat-out bombed.

If you haven’t seen it, it’s worse than you think. The silence, the boos, the look on Ice-T’s face, the Donald looking dumbfounded at how unfunny he is …

Comedy at its best, albeit of the unintentional variety. Watch now:

Police Called as Hulk Hogan Remarries

(HMG Celebrity News) – While it seems like everyone in Hollywood is divorcing of late, Hulk Hogan has remarried. What was supposed to be a nice small, simple civil ceremony got a little messy though.  Hulk  married girlfriend Jennifer McDaniels, 35, Tuesday evening in Clearwater, Florida.  While the couple was exchanging vows at the intimate sunset ceremony, TMZ reports that a family employee got into a scuffle with a photographer trying to take photos of the wedding.  A fight broke out and police arrived mid-ceremony.  The cops decided not to arrested anyone and no one pressed charges, More >

South Park on Justin Bieber: An Evil Butthole!

We’re very sorry, Justin Bieber supporters, but your boy got served by South Park last night.

On the episode “Coon vs. Coon & Friends,” a supposed superhero said he was fighting for “good and justice” in the world. How so? By massacring this adorable singer and his fans.

Crass? Maybe. Hilarious to viewers of this Comedy Central hit? We’d imagine so. There are no South Park quotes or actions that are over the line for long-time followers of this show, but anyone afflicted with Bieber Fever might take issue with the following clip:

Political Divide Reflected in TV Shows We Watch

(HMG Celebrity News) – Interesting study on how political tendencies seem to have a strong influence on the shows we watch.  While cable networks appeal to more specific viewpoints, like Comedy Central’s The Daily Show With Jon Stewart to Fox News’ Glenn Beck, the data suggests that main stream success may require pleasing conservatives.  According to months of data from leading media-research company Experian Simmons, viewers who register as Republican are more likely than voting Democrats to watch the biggest hit shows on television.  That’s probably not great news in Hollywood, which

Muff Cabbage, Osama Bin Laden & Snooki: South Park Ridicules Jersey Shore and Then Some

Love it or hate it, you have to give South Park credit for not holding back. The Comedy Central staple spoofed Jersey Shore last night, and didn’t stop there.

The show actually took shots at The Real Housewives of New Jersey as well, along with Al-Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden, who ended up being a hero of sorts.

Yep, only on South Park.

South Park’s guidos look almost as ridiculous as real-life ones.

In the episode, titled “New Jersey,” Teresa Giudice from the RHONJ franchise is animated as the woman who likes to flip out when it comes to her family.

Snooki of Jersey Shore also got the

Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert launch dueling rallies

[HMG Celebrity News] – In what may be the most fitting rebuttal to Glenn Beck’s recent gathering, Comedy Central stars Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert have announced their own rallies to restore this nation’s mental health.

Stewart, 47, announced plans for his October 30th assembly entitled ‘The Rally to Restore Sanity’ on last night’s show, describing as being for people ‘too busy with their normal lives to go to other political rallies.’

“We’re looking for people who think shouting is annoying,’ he explains on the rally’s new web site. “Who feel the loudest voices shouldn’t be the only

Roast Of David Hasselhoff Brings In Huge Viewer Numbers

Comedy Central executives must be patting themselves on the back this week after their special The Roast of David Hasselhoff premiered to huge numbers.

The Sunday night show took the top spot among 18-49 year old viewers, the first time the network has managed that feat since April 2009.

The show included such noteworthy guests at Hulk Hogan, George Hamilton and Pamela Anderson, along with Roast mainstays such as Lisa Lampanelli.

Here’s a clip of Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane making fun of The Hoff using the voice of Family Guy star Stewie:

Stephen Colbert to Mel Gibson, The View, The-Dream, BP and Others: You’re On Notice!

Okay, so Stephen Colbert had nothing to do with this. But this is what the Comedy Central host’s trademark On Notice board would look like if THG got hold of it.

While Daniel Tosh may have passed him in the ratings, Colbert remains the man. Surely not a man you want to cross if you’re an environmental disaster, anyway.

In honor of Stephen, and as a new means of calling out some things in the celebrity and real worlds that really deserve it, we’re putting the following On Notice!

  1. The oil spill. Way to ruin the Gulf of Mexico, BP.
  2. The View. This program is known for its outspoken panel’s

Daniel Tosh vs. Jon Stewart vs. Stephen Colbert: Who Would You Rather… Watch?

Jon Stewart makes the most headlines.

Stephen Colbert puts the most people and things On Notice.

But you might be surprised to learn than neither of these Comedy Central hosts bring in the most viewers. As of last week, that distinction officially belongs to Daniel Tosh, host of Tosh.0.

The show is as simple, and hilarious, as it gets. Tosh stands in front of a green screen and makes fun of clips/videos on the Internet. Such material has earned Tosh.0 an average of 2.4 million viewers, about 400,000 more than tune in for The Daily Show.

Comedy Central has already renewed the series for a
