Fan Sues Jonas Brothers After Concert Trampling
Ashleigh Johnson, who’s like totally a big Jonas Brothers fan, is suing the trio for some reason after being trampled by their groupies at The Grove in L.A.
Johnson claims the incident went down in May 2010, when she was watching the boys perform … and pummeled by an uncontrolled crowd into a guard fence.
According to legal documents, Ashleigh says she was “agonizingly crushed” into the fence and suffered serious mental, emotional and physical injuries.
Agonizing. Johnson, who does not reveal her age in the suit, seeks damages from the group, plus Caruso Management, the folks

Piers Morgan to Larry Pratt: You’re an Idiot
Piers Morgan’s “interview” with gun rights advocate Larry Pratt grew increasingly heated and even devolved into name-calling Tuesday night on CNN.
“You’re an unbelievably stupid man, aren’t you?” Morgan asked Platt.
Piers Morgan-Larry Pratt InterviewThe most, a longtime advocate of more restrictive gun laws, has spoken out strongly in favor of gun control since the Newtown, Conn., shooting Friday.
Piers Morgan absolutely went off on guns that day, shortly after 27 victims, including 20 young children, were shot and killed in the horrific tragedy.
Last night’s return to the

Dawn Hochsprung, Sandy Hook Principal, Mourned After School Shooting
The astonishing Connecticut school shooting Friday claimed the lives of 26 people in Newtown, Conn., will be tragically remembered for the 20 small children slain.
Six adults were also killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School, however, notably Dawn Hochsprung, the principal and a committed educator beloved by students.
The principal died trying to protect the students she cared for every day.
The gunman, identified as 20-year-old Adam Lanza, started his rampage in the school’s main office, where Hochsprung had reportedly come out of a meeting.
Hochsprung was killed in the

Conrad Murray to Katherine Jackson: Let’s Chat!
Conrad Murray is sitting in prison after being convicted of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson.
Yet this doctor somehow thinks he’s the one who can fix the ongoing Jackson family saga, which has centered around contention over the late singer’s will and the whereabouts of his mother, Katherine Jackson, for nearly two weeks now.
Katherine is now back at home with her grandchildren, but even young Prince Jackson is suspicious over why she was taken by other relatives in the first place.
“I’ve been told that she has a desire to speak with me before she departs this

Anderson Cooper Thanks Supporters for Well Wishes
It may be the Fourth of July, and not Thanksgiving, but Anderson Cooper is in an appreciative mood.
The announcement that this CNN anchor is gay was met by a horde of fans and celebrities sending their best wishes and congratulations to the reporter, all recognizing his bravery and well-reasoned statement explaining why he seemed to take so long to exit the closet.
Now, while he continues to travel the globe and do his job as a journalist, Cooper has taken a moment to thank those who have reached out.
“I appreciate all the nice tweets,” he Tweeted yesterday. “I am in Botswana working but
More >Celebrities Tweet Congratulations to Anderson Cooper
In a thoughtful, well-reasoned statement, Anderson Cooper came out as a proud gay man today, saying:
“Recently I’ve begun to consider whether the unintended outcomes of maintaining my privacy outweigh personal and professional principle. It’s become clear to me that by remaining silent on certain aspects of my personal life for so long, I have given some the mistaken impression that I am trying to hide something – something that makes me uncomfortable, ashamed or even afraid.
“This is distressing because it is simply not true.”
In response to the (not surprising) reveal, many celebrities
More >Keith Olbermann: Fired By Current TV!
Keith Olbermann has just been fired by the cable network that took him in after the much higher-profile cable network he was previously on cut him loose.
Current TV, which was co-founded by Al Gore, released a statement saying it was parting ways with the pundit, surprisingly citing a difference in values.
The decision comes less than a year after Keith Olbermann was fired by MSNBC, then hired by Current to help energize the network’s primetime ratings.
Current said in a statement this afternoon:
“We created Current to give voice to those Americans who refuse to rely on
More >Louisiana Primary Results: Rick Santorum in Rout
Rick Santorum posted another convincing win in yesterday’s Louisiana’s GOP primary, but still faces doubts over whether he can broaden his appeal to win the race.
The Republican presidential candidate said the race was far from over, recalling the naysayers who said Ronald Reagan was too conservative to win the nomination.
But the road ahead is difficult for Santorum, who’s slogging it out a game of numbers to clinch the 1,144 delegates needed to clinch the party’s nomination.
Santorum will win at least eight of the 20 delegates up for grabs, according to CNN. Going into Louisiana, Mitt

As has become our post-debate tradition, here’s a highlight reel of last night’s Republican CNN gathering in Arizona … featuring Ron Paul and only Ron Paul.
He may be marginalized by the mainstream media, but he’s shown no signs of quitting the GOP race, and was dishing it out left and right Wednesday.
Like a boss.
In particular, Paul took it to Rick Santorum so hard over his federal spending record, some are speculating that he made an alliance with Mitt Romney.
It’s probably just that – speculation – but make no mistake, the Texas Congressman was on his game at last night’s Republican
More >Nancy Grace Wonders: Was Whitney Houston Murdered?!?
Let’s all stop and give thanks for Nancy Grace, shall we?
Seriously, without this attention-starved egomaniac, we might not know just how low humanity can sink.
Earlier today, during an appearance on CNN Newsroom with Brooke Baldwin, the blowhard evoked the instances of Anna Nicole Smith and Michael Jackson when talking about Whitney Houston, wondering whether someone else played a role in the singer’s death.
“I’d like to know who was around her, who – if anyone – gave her drugs… following alcohol and drugs, and who let her slip, or pushed her, underneath that water?” Grace asked,

Simon Cowell may not have offered Beyonce $100 millon, but he made it clear in a recent interview that he’d love for the former Destiny’s Child singer to sit at the judging table on season two of The X Factor.
We wonder if he’d settle for another ex-member of that group, however.
Speaking to CNN this week, Kelly Rowland – who served as a panelist in Great Britain – made it clear she’d embrace the same role here on Fox.
“It would be awesome to be a judge over here for The X Factor,” the artist said. “I really enjoyed my time over in the U.K. being a judge. That was a great opportunity and

With over 2,100 votes cast, a majority of THG readers thought Madonna’s Super Bowl halftime show was at least “pretty good.”
But Piers Morgan made it clear during an appearance on Chelsea Lately last night: do NOT count him in this group!
“That Super Bowl performance – it was like watching your mad drunken aunt at Christmas, wasn’t it?” the CNN anchor said. “I keep reading all these celebrities tweeting like, ‘Wasn’t she awesome?’ No she wasn’t! She was gruesome!”

Morgan, of course, is not an unbiased observer.
He banned the singer from his show last year

His Super Bowl ad got Roland Martin all fired up, but the CNN commentator isn’t the only one making headlines for an incident involving David Beckham.
He may be the most famous soccer player in the world, but that didn’t stop a referee from giving the 36-year-old a red card at a children’s match in L.A.
Before his son Romeo took the field, “there was a penalty given” to a young player from another team, Beckham recalled on The Jonathan Ross Show.
“The kids are 7 years old and [the referee] sent the kid off. And I was like, ‘Come on, he’s 7 years old, referee! You can’t send him off,’”
More >Should Roland Martin Be Fired for David Beckham Underwear Ad Tweets?
Exposed body parts from the Super Bowl continue to stir up controversy across the Internet.
With M.I.A.’s immature finger flip causing both NBC and the NFL to apologize, GLADD is now up in arms over comments made last night by CNN contributor Roland Martin.
While watching the Giants victory over the Patriots, Martin Tweeted the following in response to David Beckham’s underwear ad for H&M (below):
GLADD noticed and wrote back: “Advocates of gay bashing have no place at CNN,” to which Martin then replied:
“You’re clearly out of touch and clueless with what I tweeted. Way to assume, but
