Umpire Ejects Music Guy For "Three Blind Mice" Selection

Fans at a minor league baseball game in Florida saw the rarest of ejections Wednesday: the home team’s DJ got tossed for playing “Three Blind Mice”!

In Daytona’s contest against Fort Myers on August 1, the home plate umpire whipped around and abruptly angrily ejected the “music guy” on the spot.

The ejection was captured on video, too. Watch it below:

Umpire Ejects Daytona Cubs Music Man Derek Dye

The DJ, Derek Dye, was guilty of playing a non-lyrical rendition of “Three Blind Mice.” The umpire demanded no music or PA announcements from then on.

Snoop Dogg: Yo, I’ll Judge American Idol!

Snoop Dogg wants us to now call him Snoop Lion. But might we soon be calling him an American Idol judge instead?

Okay, definitely not.

But the rapper did say in an interview today that he’d be up for taking a spot on the Season 12 panel, causing us to at least fantasize over just how hilarious such a scenario would be.

With Mariah Carey on board, and names such as Brad Paisley, Nick Jonas and Pharrell Williams being bantered about, we can’t say we’re overly excited for Idol‘s return in 2013.

But if Snoop were in the mix?!? Come on. Who would not tune in?!?

Do you want to see Snoop Dogg as

Kristen Stewart Signs on for Lie Down In Darkness

Kristen Stewart has found a role that won’t involve any awkward off-set drama. At least we hope.

The actress has reportedly beaten out Jennifer Lawrence for the lead in Lie Down In Darkness, a big screen version of William Styron’s 1951 novel.

Set in that same decade, the story will find Stewart portraying Peyton Loftis, a member of a dysfunctional family who becomes the target of her mother’s jealous hatred and her father’s alcoholic, incestuous lust. Ewwww.

Other movie news is a lot more awkward for Stewart these days:

She’s schedule to promote Breaking Dawn Part 2 in the fall…

Ryan Lochte won the silver medal, 0.63 back.

Melanie Amaro Releases Debut Single: What Do You Think?

It’s been nearly eight months since Melanie Amaro walked away with the inaugural X Factor title in America, but the talented singer has only first come out with her debut single this week.

It’s titled “Don’t Fail Me Now,” it’s written by Livvi Franc (who is responsible for hits by such artists as Britney Spears and Kelly Clarkson) and it’s a message to Amaro’s hoofers, as these sample lyrics prove:

“I’ve paid my dues, I’ve paid the price, I’ve prayed for you almost every night. I’ve walked the longest road, so don’t fail me now, feet don’t fail me now.”

Give it a listen and then weigh

Chick-fil-A Responds to Ed Helms Tweet, Gay Marriage Controversy

When it comes to its beef with actor Ed Helms, Chick-fil-A is not playing chicken.

The company has issued an immediate response to The Office star’s recent Tweet, which took Chick-fil-A to task for its President admitting he is opposed to gay marriage.

“The Chick-fil-A culture and service tradition in our restaurants is to treat every person with honor, dignity and respect – regardless of their belief, race, creed, sexual orientation or gender,” the statement reads.

“We will continue this tradition in the over 1,600 restaurants run by independent Owner/Operators. Going forward, our intent

Ed Helms to Boycott Chick-fil-A Over Company’s Anti-Gay Marriage Stance

Ed Helms is hilarious in The Hangover and on The Office.

But the actor does not take the stance of Chick-fil-A President Dan Cathy as a laughing matter.

In a recent interview with a Christian publication, Cathy said his company is “guilty as charged” when it comes to accusations that it is opposed to gay marriage, adding that Chick-fil-A supports the “biblical definition of the family unit.”

That is the company’s right, of course, and it’s led to Helms exercise his own right.

“Chick-Fil-A doesn’t like gay people? So lame,” Helms Tweeted yesterday. “Hate to think what they do to the gay

GOP Debate: Ron Paul, Newt Gingrich Spar on Foreign Policy

It’s hard not to see how Dr. Paul got the better of this one.

At last night’s GOP presidential debate in New Hampshire, Newt Gingrich was asked to respond to Ron Paul referring to has a Chicken Hawk in the past.

After a long-winded, largely irrelevant response by Gingrich, Paul said that description of Newt was correct, launching into his own opinions on veterans affairs.

When it comes to the power to wage war, and foreign affairs in general, Paul is unflinching in his views, even if they’re diametrically opposed to his counterparts’.

Moreover, Paul reiterated that he, despite being

Adam Levine on Fox News: Evil F*%king Channel!

Singer Adam Levine instigated a full scale Twitter war with Fox News after asking that the “evil f-cking channel” no longer play his songs last night.

It’s unclear at what point Fox featured his songs and which one(s), but he apparently didn’t take kindly to it, firing off this scathing Tweet Wednesday.

And then all social media hell broke loose.

Several of the network’s anchors, surprisingly, hit back: “Dear Adam Levine, don’t make crappy f-cking music again,” Andy Levy wrote. “Thank you.”

Redeye host Greg Gutfeld then took aim at the Maroon 5 frontman: “Why did Maroon 5 cross the road?”

Al-Qaeda Magazine Hacked By MI6; Bomb-Making Instructions Replaced With Cupcake Recipes

Hacking. It’s not just for Blake Lively nude photos anymore!

British intelligence agency MI6 recently hacked an Al-Qaeda online magazine, replacing bomb-making instructions with a recipe for cupcakes.

Seriously, this happened.

The joint venture by MI6 and the UK’s Government Communications Headquarters had agents insert into the magazine an encrypted version of “The Best Cupcakes in America,” published by the Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Originally, the magazine had instructions on how to make pipe bombs, as well as articles by Osama bin Laden and deputy Ayman al-Zawahiri.

According to reports,
