Charlie Askew Butchers American Idol Auditon, Breaks Down on Stage
Poor Charlie Askew.
The American Idol hopeful auditioned live for the first time tonight, choosing the track “Mama” by Genesis. Which is about a prostitute.
But things got even weirder from there: Askew donned a ponytail. And a grungy shirt. And screeched throughout the performance, drawing outright laughter from the judges.
Charlie Askew – “Mama”“What happened?” Nicki Minaj asked. “I don’t want to see your arms. I don’t want you working out. I don’t want to see that ponytail. I don’t want to see that earring. Lose the mustache immediately. I feel like someone stole my kid. I

Charlie Sheen Pleads with Christopher Dormer: Call Me!
Charlie Sheen has recorded a video message in which he pleads with Christopher Dormer to come to his senses.
The ex-LAPD officer – who is accused of killing three people and is at the center of a man hunt throughout Los Angeles – wrote a rambling manifesto on Facebook this month in which he gushes over a variety of celebrities, including Sheen.
Dormer refers to the actor as “effin awesome.”
Now, in hopes of bringing this situation to a close, Sheen has reached out to the murder suspect and said:
“You mentioned me in your manifesto, so thank you for your kind words. I am urging

Charlie Sheen Blames Chuck Lorre for Angus T. Jones Breakdown
You won’t believe this, but Charlie Sheen has a take on Angus T. Jones.
And, even more incredibly, the former Two and a Half Men star is blaming Chuck Lorre for the recent rant Jones went on against the sitcom.
A day after the young star blasted Two and a Half Men as “filth,” Sheen was asked about Jones’ video interview, telling TMZ:
“Obviously, not having been there for some time, the Angus T. Jones that I knew and still love is not the same guy I saw on YouTube yesterday,” Sheen said, adding:
“I dare anyone to spend ten years in the laugh-track that is Chuck Lorre’s hive

Charlie Sheen Makes Record Donation to USO
Charlie Sheen has made it the tiniest bit harder to hate him now.
The actor announced today that he will donate 1% of his profits from Anger Management – which is off to a solid start on FX – to the USO, guaranteeing that military organization at least $1 million and leaving the final donation figure uncapped.
It’s a record donation from one individual.
“The USO would like to thank Charlie Sheen for his very generous $1 million donation to our Operation Enduring Care Campaign and his interest in helping us lift the spirits of those who have endured so much to protect the freedoms we enjoy

Charlie Sheen Quits Twitter: Warlock Peaces Out of Social Media With Inspirational Final Message
Making good on a promise he made not even 48 hours ago, Charlie Sheen has officially quit Twitter, leaving his 7.7 million followers emotionally reeling.
Fortunately, he departed with one final, inspiring Tweet:
“reach for the stars everyone. dogspeed cadre. c out.”
Sheen signed onto Twitter fairly recently in March 2011, after he was fired from Two and a Half Men and began lambasting his former bosses online.
He has been a regular tweeter ever since, offering sage-like pearls of wisdom to the general public and plugging his new show Anger Management.
It’s unclear why he decided to close

Charlie Sheen Speaks on "Psychotic Break," Prostitute Sex
Charlie Sheen and Playboy.
A year ago, if you heard this actor and this publication’s name in the same sentence, you’d likely envision some sort of drug-filled romp with naked women.
But in another interview to promote his upcoming FX sitcom, Anger Management, Sheen has once again come out and admitted something he never would have said in 2011: he was never winning.
Featured in the July/August double issue, Sheen tells Playboy about the crazy events that led to his firing from Two and a Half Men:
“I don’t think it was the show in particular. It was the buildup of all the time I’ve been

Charlie Sheen Responds to Drug Rumors With Cryptic Statement
Amid rumors of Charlie Sheen’s drug-fueled partying, the warlock was asked point blank if he has been using illegal substances and spiraling out of control again.
He was also asked if he has any knowledge about Brooke Mueller relapsing (something her lawyer passionately denies, saying her trip to rehab is “preventative”).
Sheen’s response, to TMZ, appears below:
I can’t speak to anyone’s opinion or judgement.I was there.they were not.their tepid hearsay is a baseless static drone.a mantra.their theme.I refuse to be held hostage by their ‘constitutional’privilege, to judge those who can

His career has taken many turns. So has his personal life.

So Sheen jokes – it’s not really a joke, is it? – in the following trailer, which promotes the June 28 premiere of his upcoming FX comedy, Anger Management.
The star anchors the sitcom as an athlete-turned-therapist. Will you give Sheen the opportunity he so desires? Watch the latest promo now and then

What a difference a year makes.
Nearly 13 months ago to the day – in the midst of a public meltdown that introduced the world to terms such as “Tiger Blood” and the ever-irritating “Winning!” – Charlie Sheen appeared on The Today Show and said he had no regrets over his behavior.
“I’m going to live my life the way I want and I’m going to win every moment!” Sheen said at the time.
Fast forward to this morning and…
… Sheen told Matt Lauer this morning, on the same program, that he finds moments and quotes such as that “a little cringeable to watch because I don’t recognize part of who that

Charlie Sheen will star in Anger Management on FX this summer.
In promotion for the sitcom, the network has been using photos of the actor from his most recent gig, Two and a Half Men, a move that resulted this week in a cease and desist letter from CBS, which is demanding Sheen and his production company stop illegally profiting from its images.
To this, Sheen has a simple response: GOOD!
“I”m thrilled,” the actor tells TMZ, in a way only he can. “It insulates me from having to redundantly see myself in the idiotic bowling shirt. Perhaps if Warner Bros. spent as much time and energy

FX Boss Believes in Charlie Sheen, Redemption
Charlie Sheen is on his way back into our living room: his FX sitcom premieres in June.
What made that network take a chance on the troubled actor? President and general manager John Landgraf was asked this question by reporters yesterday at the Television Critics Association press tour and said he was “as skeptical as you might imagine” when he first walked in to a pitch meeting with Sheen. But then…
“I saw [a very different Charlie Sheen] in the room, and what I heard was a really good pitch for a comedy series – funny, complicated, and I think the character that Charlie ought to be

US magzine has reported that Charlie Sheen is seriously considering the idea of getting back together with his former wife Brooke Mueller, who took divorce from him in 2009 after telling the judge that Sheen had held a knife to her neck.
An unknown person close to the matter told the publication “getting counselling and therapy [with] the boys” and Mueller, is working out pretty well for everyone.
Celebrity blog TMZ added some more news to fuel the rumors of their reunion. It claimed that Sheen took Mueller for a trip to China after being impressed by her efforts in rehab and also to

With the exception of dodging some flying objects over the weekend, Charlie Sheen has remained relatively quiet over the last few weeks.
Heck, he’s even made peace with Brooke Mueller.
It may be confusing to those of us used to the actor’s Warlock ways, but Emilio Estevez says his brother is “a completely different guy.” This time for good, supposedly.
Speaking to Access Hollywood, Estevez says Sheen has his “voice back.” The former Young Guns star credits a couple projects in the works for helping Charlie regain his “focus.”
