His career has taken many turns. So has his personal life.
But Charlie Sheen recently admitted in an interview with Matt Lauer that he isn’t even sure who that reckless moron from the first half of 2011 was, and now he’s asking TV viewers for another chance. A 24th, by the actor’s count.
So Sheen jokes – it’s not really a joke, is it? – in the following trailer, which promotes the June 28 premiere of his upcoming FX comedy, Anger Management.
The star anchors the sitcom as an athlete-turned-therapist. Will you give Sheen the opportunity he so desires? Watch the latest promo now and then

Charlie Sheen on Public Meltdown: Who Was That Guy?!?
What a difference a year makes.
Nearly 13 months ago to the day – in the midst of a public meltdown that introduced the world to terms such as “Tiger Blood” and the ever-irritating “Winning!” – Charlie Sheen appeared on The Today Show and said he had no regrets over his behavior.
“I’m going to live my life the way I want and I’m going to win every moment!” Sheen said at the time.
Fast forward to this morning and…
… Sheen told Matt Lauer this morning, on the same program, that he finds moments and quotes such as that “a little cringeable to watch because I don’t recognize part of who that

Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men: What a Pile of Ass!
Charlie Sheen will star in Anger Management on FX this summer.
In promotion for the sitcom, the network has been using photos of the actor from his most recent gig, Two and a Half Men, a move that resulted this week in a cease and desist letter from CBS, which is demanding Sheen and his production company stop illegally profiting from its images.
To this, Sheen has a simple response: GOOD!
“I”m thrilled,” the actor tells TMZ, in a way only he can. “It insulates me from having to redundantly see myself in the idiotic bowling shirt. Perhaps if Warner Bros. spent as much time and energy

FX Boss Believes in Charlie Sheen, Redemption
Charlie Sheen is on his way back into our living room: his FX sitcom premieres in June.
What made that network take a chance on the troubled actor? President and general manager John Landgraf was asked this question by reporters yesterday at the Television Critics Association press tour and said he was “as skeptical as you might imagine” when he first walked in to a pitch meeting with Sheen. But then…
“I saw [a very different Charlie Sheen] in the room, and what I heard was a really good pitch for a comedy series – funny, complicated, and I think the character that Charlie ought to be

Yes, Charlie Sheen will be killed off Two and a Half Men when that CBS sitcom kicks off season nine on Monday. But the actor himself remains alive. Somehow.
Still, Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane has penned an obituary for the actor and he read it aloud during this weekend’s taping of the Comedy Central Roast that will honor/tear apart the warlock of a star and air on the same night as the aforementioned premiere.
Check out the “tribute” below and then read through some of the best jokes from the special.

Charlie Sheen Roast Taping: Top Jokes, Reaction

Amy Schumer: “You’re just like Bruce Willis – you were big in the 80s and now your old slot is being filled by Ashton Kutcher.”
Jeff Ross: “Brooke Mueller is not very bright unless Charlie throws a lamp at her… Mike Tyson, your opponents spent more time bleeding in the corner than Charlie’s ex wives.”

US magzine has reported that Charlie Sheen is seriously considering the idea of getting back together with his former wife Brooke Mueller, who took divorce from him in 2009 after telling the judge that Sheen had held a knife to her neck.
An unknown person close to the matter told the publication “getting counselling and therapy [with] the boys” and Mueller, is working out pretty well for everyone.
Celebrity blog TMZ added some more news to fuel the rumors of their reunion. It claimed that Sheen took Mueller for a trip to China after being impressed by her efforts in rehab and also to

Charlie Sheen: A Changed Man?
With the exception of dodging some flying objects over the weekend, Charlie Sheen has remained relatively quiet over the last few weeks.
Heck, he’s even made peace with Brooke Mueller.
It may be confusing to those of us used to the actor’s Warlock ways, but Emilio Estevez says his brother is “a completely different guy.” This time for good, supposedly.
Speaking to Access Hollywood, Estevez says Sheen has his “voice back.” The former Young Guns star credits a couple projects in the works for helping Charlie regain his “focus.”
“He’s on a new show [Anger Management] and he’s gonna be

Winning: Charlie Sheen Unfazed By Flying Objects Hurled on Stage!
Charlie Sheen has seen it all. Takes A LOT to faze the guy.
Not only did the actor/crazy man survive the Gathering of the Juggalos this weekend, he had the crowd on its feet, even as it hurled insults and objects at him.
The audience erupted as Sheen, not even losing his train of thought, started catching the flying cans and bottles airmailed at his face with his bare hands.
The former Two and a Half Men star, who will soon be killed by a train on the sitcom, even had the crowd cheering his name and “Winning!” on command:

Denise Richards will never cut off contact with Charlie Sheen. Why, many might ask? Considering she’s actually increased security in light of recent threats by the actor?
Simple, Richards tells Us Weekly: “He’s my girls’ dad. As they’re older, they’ll deal with him how they can.”
In her new memoir, Richards finally goes into detail about the infamous October 2010 night where Sheen allegedly attacked Capri Anderson and was escorted to the hospital by police.
The actor’s ex-wife was present at a meal that kicked off that evening, but says she didn’t leave simply because porn stars were

Could Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham be branching out into acting?

“YAY!!! I MET GREAT people at a casting. & im going to be in the New Charlie Angels movie! Good luck to the other amazing Casties ,” she wrote.
Presumably she means TV show and not movie, but good for her!

Charlie Sheen to Star in Anger Management-Based Sitcom
Charlie Sheen is most assuredly in need of anger management. And it sounds like the actor is actually gonna get, but not in the way we expected.
Multiple sources confirm that Sheen has found his next project: a sitcom based on the atrocious 2003 movie Anger Management, which starred Adam Sandler and Jack Nicholson.
Producer Joe Roth, who worked with Sheen on a number of films, including Major League, will take charge of the new series.
It will feature Sheen as a counselor of defendants in need of a new, relaxed view on life, similar to how Nicholson’s

Really Wild Thing: Charlie Sheen Admits to Steroid Use
Charlie Harper may soon be killed off Two and a Half Men, but this is far more troubling:
Charlie Sheen has officially murdered our belief in the fastball of Ricky “Wild Thing” Vaughn.
The pitcher arrived on the scene in 1989′s Major League, straight out of the California penal league. He was armed with an impressive, albeit erratic, right arm.
Now, though, Sheen has lifted the curtain on how he prepared for one of his most iconic roles. In an interview with Sports Illustrated, the actor says went on a steroid cycle for “six to eight weeks” and it helped. He told the magazine:
“You can

… by killing Sheen’s Harper off.
Will Charlie Sheen be eternally LOSING on Two and a Half Men?
CBS insiders tell TMZ Alan and Jake will learn about Charlie’s fate early in the September premiere, and then Ashton Kutcher will arrive when his character buys Charlie’s house.

Brooke Mueller Misses Charlie Sheen
Brooke Mueller returned to the scene of the crime recently, and shed tears over the main who allegedly threatened to kill her with a knife.
During a taping of The World According to Paris – Paris Hilton’s hilariously nauseating new reality show, on which Mueller somehow co-stars – Brooke dined with her mother and a friend in Aspen, the city where it all truly went downhill for her and Charlie Sheen.
Surrounded by such familiarity, Mueller said: “I’m reminiscing about last year and I’m kind of missing Charlie a little bit.”
