On Thursday Mariah Carey will appear on the Today Show and speculation is pointing to a pregnancy announcement for Carey and husband Nick Cannon.

The appearance coincides with Carey’s Nov. 2 release for Merry Christmas II which would be a great reason in itself to appear on the morning show, however sources close to the couple keep hinting at a baby for the happy couple.

Celine Dion Welcomes Twin Baby Boys Into The World

Celine Dion welcomed twin baby boys into the world at 11:11 and 11:12AM this morning, the boys were born at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Palm Beach, Florida.

Dion, 43 and her husband Rene welcomed the boys who weighed in at 5lbs., 4 oz. and 5lbs., 10 oz. just several days after the singer was admitted to the hospital for observation one month before her due date.

The boys were conceived through in vitro fertilization (IVF) and will be admitted to the hospital for several days as is standard practice for premature born babies.

Rachel Drach Gives Birth To Baby Boy

Saturday Night Live alum Rachel Dratch has announced the birth of her first child, a baby boy named Eli. Her son was born on August 24 according to People.

“She’s doing great and the baby’s doing great. She’s healthy and really happy!” an insider close to Rachel told the celebrity magazine.

Dratch confirmed her pregnancy in July, however at that time she refused to say who the father was, while stating that it was a “crazy story.” At this time the father of Drach’s child remains a mystery.

Sophia Coppola Gives Birth To Second Baby Girl

Director Sophia Coppola, best known for directing Lost In Translation has welcomed a second baby girl into the world today according to PEOPLE. The director and Thomas Mars, the lead singer of Phoenix, named their new daughter Cosima and she was born in New York City.

The couple’s other daughter Romy is three and a half years old.

Mars and Coppola announced the pregnancy back in December during an interview with Chicago radio station WXRT. During that interview Mars said:

“I heard the story that if you play Bach, [babies in the womb] get smarter.”
