The Backstreet Boy tells People he has found his fire and, yes, his one true desire: Nick is engaged to Lauren Kitt!
Carter says he had the ring in his pocket for “two weeks” and he finally popped the huge question during a boat ride through the Florida Keys.
However… “My boat was in such bad condition because I hadn’t used it for, like, six years,” he explains. “It took me five days literally on my hands and knees, scraping up my body [to fix it,]. The engine wasn’t complete yet but we still decided to go out.”

The Backstreet Boys’ Nick Carter says he wanted to attend his sister Leslie Carter’s funeral in Upstate New York this weekend, but his own family made it impossible.
Say what now?
As the 25-year-old Leslie was laid to rest at a small ceremony after a suspected drug overdose claimed her life last week, several family members were on hand.
Just not Nick.
Nick Carter said that, “I wanted to be at my sister’s funeral, but my family has always had a complicated dynamic.” He would not explain the circumstances.

The 23-year-old singer, checked into a private Southern California facility earlier this month, with a source telling E! The new outfit which now features a denim jacket and leggings is the first remake of the character in 69 years. The costume is also a far cry from the spandex and halter top Carter had to squeeze into.
