Glen Campbell Diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, Planning Farewell Tour

Sad news today out of the world of country music: Glen Campbell has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease.
The singer and wife Kim opened up about his condition in an interview with People this week, saying Campbell intends to follow through on a series of live performances this fall in promotion of the album “Ghost on the Canvas,” which comes out August 30.
“Glen is still an awesome guitar player and singer,” says Kim. “But if he flubs a lyric or gets confused on stage, I wouldn’t want people to think, ‘What’s the matter with him? Is he drunk?’”

Neve Campbell and John Light: It’s Over!

Neve Campbell and her husband John Light are splitting up.
The Scream star and her soon-to-be-former-hubby filed a confidential settlement agreement which divides up all the assets in their marriage May 6.
The terms of the settlement are not known, but when she filed for divorce she asked the judge to deny Light, an English actor, spousal support.
They were married four years and one day before filing to end it. Not exactly a fun anniversary, we’re guessing. Hopefully it works out for the best.

(HMG) – The British supermodel with the super temper, Naomi Campbell has given testimony at the trial of Liberia’s ex-President Charles Taylor, at The Hague for war crimes. Taylor is accused of using “blood diamonds” to fuel an insurgency in Sierra Leone that cost tens of thousands of lives. Campbell “was given rough diamonds” by Taylor in 1997 at Nelson Mandela’s house in South Africa. (HMG) – The supermodel with the super temper, Naomi Campbell is likely to be subpoenaed to testify at the trial of Liberia’s ex-President Charles Taylor, on trial at The Hague for war crimes. Taylor is accused of using “blood diamonds” to fuel an insurgency in Sierra Leone that cost tens of thousands of lives. Campbell “was given rough diamonds” by Taylor in 1997 at Nelson Mandela’s house in South Africa. The story goes (via Page6) that Campbell and Mia Farrow were in the guest house of Nelson Mandela in South Africa when Taylor’s men threw pebbles at a window and woke her up.
