With The View set to undergo some serious changes – neither Hasselback nor Joy Behar will return next season – sources tell Showbiz 411 that this beautiful actress is set to join the ABC talk show panel.
Barbara Walters is apparently a huge fan of Shields because she’s the right age (47), is a Princeton graduate and is also a mother.
Shields will play a significant role this spring on Army Wives Season 7. But will she play a welcome role on The View?

Katy Perry is a head-turning personality at most events but when she showed up in a mini white dress, with newly-dyed blond hair and sexy hot legs, it was clear that no one else has a chance.
We’re talking about “The Smurfs” world premiere at the Ziegfeld Theatre, where Mrs. Brand paraded her perfect figure in front of the photographers before going in to watch the first show of the movie, in which she plays the character of “Smurfette.”

For the first time, Bryce Dallas Howard is speaking out about her 2007 case of postpartum depression.
In an essay on Goop.com, the Eclipse star writes that she was “mortified” by her weight gain while carrying son Theo and then, after he was born:
“I felt I was failing at breast feeding. My house was a mess. I believed I was a terrible dog owner. I was certain I was an awful actress.”
