They want to take it to Broadway, with Katy Perry as the lead!
Producer Harvey Weinstein tells E! he wants to develop a Broadway musical based on the movie, which stars Michelle Williams as Monroe (see trailer below).
“If the movie works, I would try to make a musical and go to [Katy Perry] first. I think she can play Marilyn on the Broadway stage… I think she would be amazing.”

Bitter rivals in their prime the two girls are now mulling a tour that will showcase their own hits, plus covers of songs by talented people like Stevie Nicks, Reba McIntyre and even Guns N’ Roses.
They’ve also promised a few Broadway tunes just in case that list didn’t cause enough pain.

Rumors of Sam’s decision to take his bow on Broadway had been around for some time, but although the news is now official it’s tainted by the fact that Halle Berry, who was all set for a major supporting role, can’t take part because of her child custody problems.
Called ‘The Mountaintop’ the play is set on April 3, 1968 – the day before Dr. King died. He arrives at Room 306More >

Sorry to sound like a broken record, but it looks like the Broadway musical Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark has been delayed once again. The reason? Even more technical difficulties.
The delay, now placed at March 15 is the third time in just a few short months that the Bono/Edge penned musical has been put on hold. You may recall that a stuntman fell nearly 30 feet from a broken cord nearly one month ago, breaking his ribs, shoulder and a vertebrae.
The technical issues are added fuel to the fire, which also includes creative headbutting and a growing price tag that has already reached aboveMore >
Camille Grammer has taken her feud with Kesley Grammer to an especially immature, hilarious level.
Appearing on The Howard Stern Show today, the reality star implied that her soon-to-be-ex-husband likes to wear women’s clothing.
Speaking on Kesley’s role in the Broadway play La Cage aux Folles, Camille said the father of her children enjoyed that gig for “another reason.” Because he’s gay? No, Grammer said.
Because he likes to dress up like a woman, Stern asked? “I’m not saying it,” replied Camille, who may be exiting The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.More >

(HMG Celebrity News) – You gotta shake your head at Kelsey Grammer’s no holds bar attitude toward romance. If it weren’t for the fact that he suddenly and rather insensitively ditched his previous young family I would call him a hopeless romantic. Grammer is supposedly so anxious to get married to his new fiance Kayte Walsh that he’s planning to walk down the aisle as soon as his divorce with wife Camille is finalized. And he’ll reportedly do so without signing a pre-up agreement, again. Because there was no prenup, his soon to be ex-wife, Camille Donatacci, reportedly rejected anMore >
