The A&E series returned last night to record ratings, as 8.6 million viewers tuned in to watch these hunters do their thing, making the episode the most watched telecast in series history – and cable’s most watched reality telecast of 2013.

Martin Tremblay, Youth Hockey Coach, Sentenced to Jail for Tripping Incident

Martin Tremblay, a youth hockey coach in British Columbia, has been sentenced to 15 days in prison for tripping a 13-year old opponent during his team’s post-game handshake exchange.
The incident (below) took place in July, with one of the two victims who fell to the ace actually breaking his wrist upon impact.

Burger King Admits to Horse Meat; UK Beef Supply May Be Tainted

In a surprising and unsettling statement, Burger King admits to horse meat possibly tainting burgers sold in both the U.K. and Ireland recently.
It’s just the latest chapter in an ongoing scandal in the two nations involving beef burger patties allegedly containing meat from horses and pigs.
It’s suspected that a meat distributor in Poland, which works with Burger King and other supermarket chains, used meats other than beef as filler in cheap burgers.

Zig Ziglar, a motivational speaker who wrote more than 30 books on living a balanced life, and who built a huge following over his long life, has died in Texas.
He was 86. Ziglar, who had been suffering from pneumonia, passed away Wednesday at a hospital in the Dallas suburb of Plano, said his assistant, Jay Hellwig.
