Blaec Lammers Arrested in Foiled Breaking Dawn Shooting Plot

Blaec Lammers was arrested this week for plotting to shoot theater-goers during a screening of Breaking Dawn Part 2, according to reports.
Lammers, whose own mother turned him in Thursday after becoming suspicious of his intentions, faces three felony charges in the alleged plot.
He was charged Friday with first-degree assault, making a terroristic threat and armed criminal action. He is jailed in Polk County on $500,000 bond.
Bolivar, Mo., Police Chief Steve Hamilton said Lammers, 23, was unstable and committed for 96 hours for a mental health examination back in 2009.

Breaking Dawn Part 2 Hauls in $30 Million Overnight

Breaking Dawn Part 2 is off and running.
The final installment of The Twilight Saga grossed $30.4 million combined at Thursday night and midnight showings this morning. Impressive? Yes.
A record? Not quite.
Last year’s Breaking Dawn Part 1 garnered a franchise-high $30.3 million solely from midnight screenings from around the nation, for example.
And Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 took in $43.5 million from that same time slot alone.

He may now be single, but Robert Pattinson was far from alone at last night’s MTV Video Music Awards.
With Kristen Stewart at the Toronto Film Festival, the actor was joined by Taylor Lautner, Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser and Jackson Rathbone on stage and helped introduced new footage from Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 2.
“It’s been an amazing journey and we’d like to thank all the fans of the series for your incredible enthusiasm from the beginning until now, the final chapter,” Pattinson told the crowd prior to unveiling the fresh trailer.

The latest issue of Entertainment Weekly features Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in an embrace. No, they haven’t made up. They are simply in character as Edward and Bella in Breaking Dawn Part 2.
Pattinson tells the magazine that this installment of The Twilight Saga is “stranger than all the other films put together,” a comment that takes on new meaning in light of Stewart’s cheating scandal.

Kristen Stewart must be awfully grateful to Summit Entertainment right about now. The studio has given people something to talk about other than her affair with Rupert Sanders.
In a photo first published by Entertainment Weekly, Stewart’s Bella sits with daughter Renesmee in a scene from Breaking Dawn Part 2. The pair is admiring a gold locket, one that – in the book at least – is inscribed with French words that translate to “more than my own life.”
It’s a touching moment between mother and daughter.

Robert Pattinson weighed in on the Fifty Shades of Grey phenomenon today at Comic-Con … with an obvious reference to the erotic novel’s sexiness.
When questioned during the Breaking Dawn: Part 2 panel, he and Kristen Stewart were mum on whether or not they’ve read the sex-filled bestseller.
If presented with a copy, however, he knows just what he would do.

Comic-Con Death: Twilight Fan Killed By Car While Waiting in Line

Comic-Con isn’t even underway yet, but it’s already making news, and in the worst possible way: Tuesday, a woman was struck by a car and killed in San Diego while waiting in line to see some of her favorite actors from Breaking Dawn Part 2.
Summit Entertainment and Lionsgate released a joint statement today:

Edward Cullen turns 111 years young today and in honor of the occasion, the folks behind The Twilight Saga have released a new full-length Breaking Dawn Part 2 trailer.
This one expands significantly on yesterday’s quick tease, giving us glimpses at Bella as a vampire and her pressing need to protect daughter Renesmee, who is targeted by the Volturi in the final installment of this epic franchise.
There sure are a lot of red eyes throughout the preview, as noted by Jacob, as it all builds to one climactic battle between blood suckers around the world.
