Darren Aronofsky Comes to Detailed Defense of Natalie Portman

Natalie Portman has been accused of contributing to a cover-up involving her participating in Black Swan.
Sarah Lane, the classically-trained dancer who served as Portman’s double in this Oscar-winning film, says she appeared in 95 percent of the full body shots throughout the movie, creating an uproar that director Darren Aronofsky is out to quell.
In a statement he released to Fox Searchlight, Aronofsky comes to his star’s specific defense, writing:
“Here is the reality. I had my editor count shots. There are 139 dance shots in the film. 111 are Natalie Portman untouched. 28 are her

Lady Gaga’s newest song, “Government Hooker,” made an unofficial debut at designer Thierry Mugler’s show at Paris fashion week Wednesday.
Also debuting? Gaga on the catwalk!
Gaga walked the runway in high pigtails, Black Swan-inspired make-up and black bangs. She rocked two looks for the show. Here’s one of them:
While Gaga didn’t sing live, the models walked to a mix of some of her new songs, including the previously unheard “Government Hooker” and “Born This Way.”

Cuties may not even do these two justice, based on the dresses they donned Sunday night. Black Swan star Mila Kunis’ gown can best be described as head-snapping for reasons we don’t even need to get into here. But seriously, wow.
Mandy Moore, meanwhile, was also on hand to perform “I See the Light” from her hit animated film Tangled, and looked so beautiful it was hard to believe this was Mandy Moore. No offense to Mandy Moore, it’s just … wow again.

Natalie Portman trained in the art of Ballet for a year before taking on her role in David Aronofsky’s critically lauded film Black Swan and her hard work paid off with Portman taking home her first Academy Award at Sunday nights awards ceremony.
In the movie Portman played troubled ballerina Nina Sayers and during her speech she had this to say:

This years Oscar favorite Natalie Portman of Black Swan has announced that she’s expecting a little baby boy bundle of joy.
Last month Portman announced both her engagement to Black Swan choreographer Benjamin Millepied and her pregnancy, however the sex of the baby was not known at that time.
According to a family insider who spoke with Life & Style Weekly:
“They’ve only told a very small group of family members and friends that they’re expecting a son. They are so excited. Benjamin cannot wait to be a father.”

The King’s Speech has beat out The Social Network in yet another awards show, taking the top prize Sunday at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
The movie has 12 nominations at this years Oscar’s and with a best director win at the Directors Guild Awards the movie should be a good choice for front runner when the Academy Awards kick off in just four short weeks.
Among other big winners was Colin Firth for his role in The King’s Speech and Natalie Portman, the front runner for Black Swan.
