Teen pop sensation Justin Bieber is invited for questioning at the Los Angeles County Sherriff’s office after a paparazzo complained about being “roughened” up by the young singer at a shopping center.
The brawl allegedly happened after the certain paparazzo tried to snap a picture of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez after they came out of theater at The Commons at Calabasas. The paparazzo reportedly called 911 and complained about a pain on his chest.

The former American Idol runner-up shot past another famous series alumnus this week and claimed the number-one spot on the Billboard 200 for his latest album, “Trespassing.” In doing so, Lambert became the first openly gay man to sit atop the chart.
Yes, Clay Aiken achieved the same status with his 2003 CD, but he did not come out of the closet until five years later.

Justin Bieber is number-one in the hearts of teenage girls… talk show bookers… YouTube play lists… charitable organizations.
In this case, however, we’re referring to the Billboard 200 Albums Chart, where “Justin Bieber, Never Say Never: The Remixes” sits atop the list with the most copies sold last week.
Here’s a glance at the top 10, two spots on which are occupied by The Biebs. Incredible.

Glee To Debut Two Original Songs During March 15 Show

The cast of Glee have performed songs from such popular artists as Madonna, Justin Bieber, Jay-Z, even Michael Jackson but that apparently isn’t good enough for show creator Ryan Murphy who plans to debut two original songs when the series airs on March 15.
Columbia Records on Tuesday announced that the tracks will debut during the show and also released the name of the songs “Loser Like Me” and “Get It Right.” Both songs will also be part of the Glee: The Music, Volume 5 CD which will premiere before the show on March 8.

The 26-year old singer is known for her heavy use of cosmetics, but the photo shows her having just woken up, and the pained expression proves she was less than pleased to encounter a camera.

Crystal Bowersox Debut Album Sales: Not Terrible

It could have been worse for Crystal Bowersox.
A month after American Idol champion Lee DeWyze watched his debut album sell fewer copies during its first week of release than any CD in show history, Crystal’s “Farmer’s Daughter” moved 57,804 units.
That figure was good enough for number-28 on the Billboard 200 Chart. It was also about 20,000 more sales than her fellow finalist’s initial effort.
Among other American Idol alums, Carrie Underwood, Fantasia and Daughtry also earned spots this week on the Billboard 200.

Jessica Simpson’s holiday season is off to a rough start.
At least professionally. Her latest Christmas CD, for which she has done many media appearances, debuted at #123 on the Billboard 200 charts with a modest 10,000 in sales. Pretty bad. It’s almost like her singing career ended in like 2002.
Anyway, at least she’s still engaged to Eric Johnson!

Lil Wayne scored a #2 album on the Billboard charts this week, marking a solid debut for his latest release I Am Not A Human Being. Whether he knows it is unclear.
Weezy, of course, has been solitary confinement – no conversation, TV, or music – and will remain there for 23 hours a day until his November 4 release from jail.
That’s gotta be harder than Brett Favre in those pics he sent to Jenn Sterger.
Weezy is in solitary, or in the politically correct world, “punitive segregation,” after sneaking an iPod charger and headphones into his cell. Hey, you gotta rock out.

Britney Spears, Glee Torn a New One By Parents Television Council

Last month’s Britney Spears Glee episode earned a show-record 13.3 million viewers and several spots on the Billboard charts. But the response wasn’t all positive.
Some reviewers felt it was fluff from a series renowned for great writing on weighty topics (see this week’s “Grilled Cheesus“). Others were just plain offended.
The Parents’ Television Council deemed the “Britney/Brittany” episode the worst thing on TV that week, a “pandering tribute” to a “toxic teen role model.” Ouch!
