The American Idol hopeful auditioned live for the first time tonight, choosing the track “Mama” by Genesis. Which is about a prostitute.
But things got even weirder from there: Askew donned a ponytail. And a grungy shirt. And screeched throughout the performance, drawing outright laughter from the judges.

Chris Brown, Bodyguard Fight; Big Pat Reportedly Ditched in Bermuda

Uh oh. Sounds like Chris Brown is at it again.
In Bermuda Wednesday, the singer reportedly got into an argument with longtime pal and bodyguard Big Pat aboard their private plane, which had stopped to refuel.
An airport worker tells the Bermuda Sun:
“I’m not sure of the details of what happened on the plane but his plane came in, got serviced and everything was finishing and they were getting ready to leave.”

Ted Nugent, not surprisingly, was not a fan of the late Hugo Chavez.
The rocker issued a candid assessment of his death last night.
Three words will sum it up. Those words are “ADIOS MO FO.”
Sort of two words broken into three, but you get the idea here.
“All dictators, tyrants, slave-drivers and despots should die ASAP. Let freedom ring!” Nugent proudly told TMZ after Hugo Chavez died at the age of 58.
A devout socialist and outspoken anti-American dictator who clashed frequently with the U.S., Chavez pretty much embodied everything Ted Nugent hates.

Just when peeps were starting to declare the meme so over, LeBron James and the Miami Heat Harlem Shake video breathed new life into it last week.
Deservedly so, as the Heat Shake was admittedly sweet. But for their game in Minnesota Monday, the T-Wolves produced this just for the occasion:
Timberwolves Harlem ShakePretty epic takedown right there, but Miami, as usual, had the last laugh. They won a franchise-record 15th game in a row, routing the Wolves 97-81.

Hugo Chavez: Dead!

Hugo Chavez, the firebrand President of Venezuela, has died at the age of 58.
Unlike last week’s erroneous reports of his demise, this time it’s the real deal.
Vice President Nicolas Maduro, who reported that Chavez was battling for life earlier this week, confirmed that he lost the battle about 45 minutes ago.
Maduro said that Hugo Chavez died at 4:25 p.m. Tuesday.
“We must unite now more than ever,” said Maduro, fighting back tears and flanked by cabinet ministers, calling on Venezuelans to remain “peaceful and respectful.”

Howie Mandell and Howard Stern are officially the luckiest men in the country.
NBC sources have confirmed to TMZ that Heidi Klum will join the cast of America’s Got Talent this summer, becoming the show’s four judge alongside the aforementioned gentlemen and newcomer Melanie Brown.
Sharon Osbourne resigned from the series last year.

Queen Elizabeth II: Hospitalized for Stomach Infection

Queen Elizabeth II was hospitalized today at London’s King Edward VII Hospital, Palace sources confirm to E! News, for symptoms related to gastroenteritis.
Her Highness is expected to remain under physician care for about 48 hours for this stomach infection, says press officer James Roscoe.
“She went to the hospital today at around 3 p.m. GMT. She is in good spirits, besides the symptoms of gastroenteritis,” Roscoe says. “Doctors are saying she should be in hospital for a couple days.”
The 86-year old monarch has canceled a trip to Rome as a result of the illness.
