The Biggest Loser isn’t simply returning with new episodes in January. It’s bringing back an former favorite and focusing on an issue that plagues the nation.
That’s right, Jillian Michaels – who exited the NBC competition in 2011 in order to focus on her new family – will once again be the head trainer next year, but this time she will be barking orders at a cast of 13-17-year olds, as The Biggest Loser tackles the issue of childhood obesity.

Daphne Dortch shook up The Biggest Loser last week and paid the ultimate price for it. But she has no regrets, in fact, she says she’s glad to be outta there.
When presented with the opportunity to alter the composition of the red and black teams, Dortch ate over 1,800 calories to guarantee she’d have control.
“I ate the [peanut butter cups] because I wanted to stay with [my trainer Bob],” Dortch told reporters after her elimination. Then the ish hit the fan though.

British model Katie Price (if you don’t know her, she gets married a lot, stars on a lot of shows about her life and has huge breasts) is coming to America, again.
She reportedly signed a $1.3 million deal to be the host of a reality TV show called Make Me A Hunk, upon which she’ll transform nerds into … not-nerdy guys.
A source explains “It is a huge deal and she is absolutely thrilled. It is the biggest gig of her career to date and the first time she will have fronted a TV show.”

Stefano Langone Earns His Spot on American Idol

One of three wild card entries, as chosen by the judges last week, Stefano Langone made a strong statement on American Idol last night: I belong!
The singer challenged himself by taking on Stevie Wonder’s “Lately,” mixing it into a ballad and a jazz-based arrangement. The performance left Jennifer Lopez laughing and referring to the version as a “dance remix.”
Steven Tyler compared Stefano to a “soaring volcano,” while Randy Jackson likely paid him the biggest compliment of all: “It’s so hard to sign Stevie Wonder. He’d be proud of this, because you slayed it.”

Kim Kardashian may soon branch out from her Reality TV empire, taking on a rumored role as John Gotti’s wife in an upcoming Gotti biopic.
Kardashian has taken on several roles including a part in Disaster Movie and a role on CSI: NY, however the rumored role as Kim Gotti would be her biggest big screen opportunity to date.
Kim spent 21 years with John Gotti before his death and had six children with her husband. Throughout their marriage John Gotti was hunted by the U.S. Government who tried unsuccessfully on three separate occasions to charge him with racketeering charges.

Michelle Money, who was sent home after her amazing SI Swimsuit Issue mauling of Brad Womack on The Bachelor this week, has no hard feelings toward Brad.
Nor does she harbor any ill will toward Chantal O’Brien, her biggest rival.
That said, she’s definitely pulling for Emily Maynard to win it all.
“[Brad] needs someone soft-spoken and feminine. She’s just a Southern belle, ladylike and sweet. Emily will be the one who ends up with him,” she says.

Electronics retailer Best Buy put Justin Bieber and Ozzy Osbourne in their Super Bowl commercial this year, an odd pairing that worked to decent effect.
The company didn’t sugar coat why they chose Bieber with marketing chief Drew Panayiotou revealing:
“Justin Bieber is the biggest star out there, but that’s not why he’s in the spot,” and “He symbolically represents something important to the brand message.”
While the spot only lasted 30 seconds it’s rumored that Bieber made a cool million dollars for his role in the ad and he doesn’t even appear in the entire 30 seconds.

Christina Aguilera National Anthem Effort: FAIL!

Poor Christina Aguilera.
The singer choked on the biggest stage of her career Sunday night, stepping to midfield prior to Super Bowl XLV and flubbing a lyric to the national anthem. Aguilera left out the words “O’er the ramparts we watched” and instead inserted “What so proudly we watched” in their place.

Two weeks ago, the nation watched in horror as this Real Housewives of Beverly Hills outed her sister as an alcoholic, an allegation that was addressed again last night on part two of that show’s reunion special.
