Paris Hilton sentenced but no jail time – promises better behavior

[HMG Celebrity News] – When the news broke last month that Paris Hilton had been arrested for possessing cocaine most people said she’d find a way to duck out of the charges. And they were right.
The 29-year old socialite appeared in a Las Vegas courtroom this morning and pleaded guilty to possessing the drug and obstructing an officer, in return for which she got one year probation, a $2,000 fine, 200 hours of community service and must also complete a substance abuse program.
“You have been sentenced to one year in Clark County Detention Center,” Judge Joe Bonaventure told the defendant.

Wife of actor Martin Short, passed away suddenly this weekend

(HMG) – One is never totally prepared to lose a loved one, but sometimes it happens so fast you never get the chance to say goodbye. That may have been the case for comedic actor Martin Short who has lost his beloved wife suddenly this past weekend. Nancy Dolman, died suddenly at the age of 58, reports Radaronline, on Saturday, Aug. 21 at the couple’s home outside Los Angeles. The LA Fire Department responded to an emergency call at their home in the morning, but did not take anyone to the hospital, so it is believe Dolman passed away at the house.
