Kim Kardashian has made a splash with what we’re sure is only one many Halloween costumes she’ll be donning this year.
The reality star posed with boyfriend Kanye West last night on Instagram prior to attending the Midori Halloween shindig.
Tweeted the company spokeswoman along with the above picture: “Splash,” a reference to the 1984 movie starring Tom Hanks.
West, meanwhile, is dressed as a sea captain, which is appropriate really: he’ll be riding Kardashian’s waves later in the evening… if you know what we mean!

Ann Rutherford, who played Scarlett O’Hara’s sister Carreen in Gone with the Wind, died Monday evening in her Beverly Hills home. She was 94.
The actress, who made her mark opposite Mickey Rooney as Andy Hardy’s girlfriend Polly Benedict in the late ’30s, had been in declining health.
Born in Vancouver to a singer father and a silent-film actress, Rutherford moved with her family to Los Angeles when she was nine years old.
As a teenager, she figured out that if she became a radio actress she could get out of school. So she became a radio actress. Simple as that!

Alan Scott, a.k.a. the Green Lantern, is officially coming out of the closet.
The DC Comics staple, who was first introduced in 1940 as a husband and father, is a homosexual in Earth 2′s new comic, being released next week.
The comic-book giant approved author James Robinson’s character-altering decision “without hesitation.” Here’s GL making out with his boyfriend:
“He’s very much the character he was,” James tells the New York Post of the change. “He’s still the pinnacle of bravery and idealism. He’s also gay.”
Interestingly enough, Alan’s son Obsidian was gay, but the rebooting of AlanMore >
Kris Humphries is a free agent no more … professionally anyway.
His old NBA team, the New Jersey Nets, have signed him to a one-year contract reportedly worth $8 million for the coming season, which opens next week.
Humphries, who has been training in his native Minnesota, was not offered a new deal to return for a second season of Kourtney & Kim Take New York.
See? Not everybody wants to dump Kris Humphries!
Kris became an unrestricted free agent after last season, averaging 10 points and 10 rebounds in what was by far the best of his seven seasons as a pro.

Proving that NBC personnel suck at holding their liquor as well as producing TV shows and updating their website, correspondent Jay Gray was arrested last Monday after allegedly getting wasted at a party thrown by Jerry Sandusky’s lawyer.
Gray was invited by attorney Joe Amendola to watch the New York Giants game the night of December 11, along with reporters from other media outlets, all of whom were vying for an exclusive interview with disgraced former PSU coach Sandusky.

Kobe Bryant can blame Basketball Wives for getting caught cheating.
Not the stars of VH1′s Basketball Wives – none of whom are actually married, and one of whom isn’t even involved with a basketball player – mind you. We mean actual wives of teammates, and other NBA squads. Let’s just say that people talk.
Vanessa Bryant caught Kobe cheating – not Elin Nordegren style, but she did find out about his infidelity when talk of his extracurricular sexual exploits increased in frequency among her fellow spouses, according to a TMZ report.

Kim Kardashian ignored the rumors about her marriage last night – is it all a farce? – and got paid to party at New York City nightclub LAVO during an event sponsored by Midori.
And what did the professional celebrity dress as for the occasion? Poison Ivy, the Batman villain once portrayed on screen by Uma Thurman. All it was took was high heels, a cleavage-baring top and… wait, how is this any different than her usual red carpet outfits?
The party benefited a number of charities, with all cover charges going to causes that include… just kidding! Kim simply banked another six-figureMore >
Boasting such stars as Liam Neeson, Anne Hathaway and Marion Cotillard, plus Christian Bale in the suit, ‘Batman: The Dark Knight Rises’ is among the most anticipated films in years, and new video footage from Saturday’s shoot at the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Heinz Field is further proof why.
The 65,000-seat stadium was dressed up to serve as the base of the Gotham Rogues team and Steelers fans working as extras wore supporters gear for the fictional team. Even Ben Roethlisberger was enthused by his chance to try acting;

But according to court documents filed in New Mexico, Whalley claims he’s now behind on payments. Shedoesn’t specify how much Kilmer owes.

Jacob Lusk believes he can American Idol, but feels like the underdog.
His version of Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown‘s “No Air,” during which he sang both parts, proved why many feel tonight will be the end of his run on the show.
The melody forced him to stay so high that he had trouble getting enough breath support and maintaining his pitch. You could say he had not enough air …
For his second number, Lusk chose “Love Hurts,” which he began tenderly, in his falsetto range, backed by a harp and strings. Luther Vandross would be proud.
